The British Board of Film Classification has posted a list of 9 deleted scenes that will appear on the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD. It looks like Hermione may appear in a few but is certainly in at least one: “00:01:47:14 (“HARRY
HERMIONE AND UMBRIDGE – EXTENDED”)”. More supposed movie covers and so forth are still floating around but as of yet, nothing has been confirmed by WB.

A couple days ago, I was scouring the web for information on the HP&OOTP DVD release date and was very much disappointed to find nothing but rumors. The Leaky Cauldron is now reporting that Amazon.co.uk is listing November 12th as the release date for the DVD. November 12th has been rumored to be the release date for a good bit, but this is still an unconfirmed date. Keep your eyes peeled, though, and we’ll be updating you with any further news we can find!

EDIT: We’ve been doing some major gallery updates. Make sure you check the last uploads, but here are a few albums:

Because these totally deserve their own post. Remember that photoshoot Emma did for Tatler Magazine a while back? Well, guess who got the entire photoshoot?

Ya huh, we did! Plus outtakes. Dude, that is something, eh? Anyway, if you take these, please please please please please credit back to ihw.net because … well, cause it’s the nice thing to do. And because they’re so awesome, they deserve their own thumbnails:

HBP Beginning Soon!

Apparently, filming on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth movie of the series, in which Emma will be again playing Hermione Granger, is due to begin in early September. David Yates will be again directing (refresher: he also directed the just-released Order of the Phoenix) and Steve Kloves will be returning as screenwriter (he wrote the first four films, although Michael Goldenberg wrote HP&OOTP). The release date is November 21, 2008 – only 454 days from now! Heh.

Anyway, thanks to LeakyNews.com, we’ve got a few snippets of info on how Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is going. Rupert Grint said in a radio interview with Jo Whiley that:

We sort of read the script through. We got all the cast to come around to read the script and we’ll be filming it for another year so . . . Ron’s got a girlfriend in this one. It’s a little bit more intense for him! So it should be fun!

There’s also some intriguing info on night filming that’s going to be happening around Wiltshire, England in October. You can check out Leaky’s information on that here.

Still working on uploading more old pictures! I’ve just got pictures from the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone London Conference up at ihwmedia.net and am busily uploading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban London Photocall and Press Conference images, so have fun with those!

Allison: Emma-Watson.net has posted a translation of an interview “Tu” magazine conducted with Rupert and Emma. They talk briefly about the fifth movie and university plans, as well as the Harry Potter books. That’s available here – thanks, E-Wnetters!

Emma’s official site has also been updated with some exciting news! Emma’s already halfway through filming Ballet Shoes, plus there’s also some tantalizing information about some more features Emma’s site will be opening up in September!

100 Women in Hollywood

Article by Kaetlyn on August 23, 2007 with 3 comments

Thanks to a tip off from Viki, we now know that Emma has made it into Premiere‘s 100 Women in Hollywood. The list applauds women who have made impacts on the Hollywood film industry in 2007. Emma came in at #79.

Whether or not the young actress can and will play anyone besides the Harry Potter film franchise’s Hermione is irrelevant until 2010, when the series will reach its grand finale. Until then, she’ll amass more and more fans while putting away $4 million per film into her college fund.

Also, I’ve started adding some new unseen promos from the Potter movies. These are all in high quality and I’m pretty sure they’re all kinds of awesome. The magic starts here.
