Empire ‘08 nominations

After months of voting, the results are in and Emma has snagged a nomation for Best Actress at this year’s Sony Ericsson Empire Awards! Dan and the HP:OotP film team have also nabbed some nomations. Unfortunately, Rupert did not receive a nomination; there has been no mention of Emma attending these awards, but stay tuned for more news.

  1. thr is an article by a tabloid-Sun-of Emma leaving a nightclub last sat lookin completely stoned…her hair was wild and she looked drunk so much..it’s assumed she did party away madly. did anyone c tht article?wht do u make of it?why is emma doin all this?at 17 only. also,i hope she wins in Empire awards 2008-but she must b really c’ful of appearing drunk/stoned in public..esp in LOndon-she can eat her own words..she once said she felt sorry 4 britney/lohan-doin it in public light….now she’s doin tht too….sob.

  12. The worst thing in this situation is that Emma will be considered, again, a light-minded girl, which has nothing to do than spending her time in night clubs. That scandal also occured when she was caught drinking, it would be so bad if this will happen again. I really don’t think that Emma is a ‘mini-Paris Hilton’ and for a single night of fun she might get a lot of negative criticisms…

  13. I’m not one to go out a lot, but i think it’s very normal. Going to a club doesn’t make you a bad person. She does look a bit drunk in the last picture but i look drunk in a lot of pictures as well when i’m not. Maybe she was sleepy?

  14. Yes. The only problem is that she is not ‘everyone’ and whatever mistake she would do she becomes a negative model, even if a saturday night in a club is not a crime!

  15. She looks like a normal person leaving a club lol I thought that photos would be HORRIBLE after reading the comments here but they’re not that bad.
    And I love Emma but I don’t think she can win against those actresses - Cate’s and Keira’s parts were so much more of a challenge.

  16. …dude, those pictures look totally normal. The only problem with the second one is that the person who took the photo obviously caught her in the middle of doing something, like blinking or turning her head or whatever, and of course it’s gonna make everything think she was drunk or whatever. People are stupid.

  17. Oh, It’s fantastic that Emma has been nominated for so many exciting awards. But I feel really sorry for Rupert Grint. It’s always Emma and Dan that get’s nominated, he never gets anything. If he ever gets nominated, I’ll vote my ass of!! XD
