Emma Attending the Empire Awards ’08

Since Kaetlyn and I are the shiznit! we have decided to reward your beautiful eyes with the new and beautiful pictures of Emma attending the Empire Awards. I have A LOT! of HQ’s already. By I am getting more as we speak.

We also have Some MQs. I will have to say I love Emma’s dress. Some one the pictures bring out the blush a little toooo much. I love her choice and it is certainly better than 2006, but 2005 was good.

edit! Also, Emma appears first on the Empire 2008 gallery, in a picture which I must say, makes her look gorgeous. She also appears here with Jason Isaacs, here posing like a pro, posing with Evanna and Katie at the reception, posing on the winner’s carpet (?) and laughing with Alfonso. Katie and Evanna also appear a little later in the slide show.

She sure got around the awards!

18.47: Best British Film is presented by Emma Watson. And, yes, she’s still far too young for most of you, so stop those thoughts, grubby man. She is wearing shoes so high that I think she’s in danger of airplanes crashing into her head. How quickly they grow up. Atonement bags the prize. Tim Bevan collects because Joe Wright is rather selfishly making a film in LA with Robert Downey Jr and Jamie Foxx. Dreadfully rude. Seriously, a much deserved award. Wright’s work on that film was incredible.

I like her dress. It’s cute, fun and girly, but I would have accessorised with a vengeance to make it stand out more. The shoes are cool but rather plain. The bag is funky and very on-trend. I’m not into the cuff, though. I would definitely have added a glitzy or chunky necklace or chandelier earrings – something to add some pop to the outfit. I wish Emma had done something nice with her hair; as it is, it just looks like she went from lounging around the house to the awards ceremony. And something about her make-up is bothering me … I can’t quite put my finger on it … I think the blush might be too red for her … I’m not entirely sure if that’s the only thing …

She does look nice, but she has definitely looked better. It just seems like she didn’t make enough of an effort. Or maybe it’s just me. What does everyone else think?

I don’t like the skirt of the dress – it just makes her hips wider – but I think it could have worked if it were longer. The bracelet and the shoes – while they go together – don’t go with the outfit, in my opinion. I also think she used either too much blush or too dark a shade, and I wish she had worn earrings. I kind of wish she never pierced her ears because when she used to wear clip ons, she would wear really cute dangly earrings and now hardly ever wears dangly earrings. Also, I agree with you, Mint, about her hair – I do think she could have done more with it – I would have liked to see it down and wavy.
