Rumors Ahoy!

Thanks to The Leaky Cauldron for updating us on a slew of recent rumors! First, the Sunday Mirror is today reporting that Emma, Dan, and Rupert are filming “extra sequences and clips which will be part of the rides” at the Harry Potter theme park opening in Florida sometime in the next two years. The article reports that they will also be filming a brand-new Harry Potter story written by Rowling herself before beginning the Deathly Hallows films, and calls this a “mini-movie.”

There’s more, though, this time about Emma specifically! The Daily Mail is reporting that Emma “has signed a two-year contract worth £3million” with Chanel to promote the Chanel fragrance Coco Mademoiselle. The current face of Coco Mademoiselle is Keira Knightley. Keira’s contract with Chanel expires this summer. The article continues on to say, “Once it became clear she is growing into a beautiful young woman and wears the Chanel brand so elegantly, they had to sign her up. Chanel realises it is important to target a young audience.”, and that “Emma has been excitedly telling friends that she is going to be taking over from Keira.”

Many of you have also asked that we post about the Portrait Magazine poll in which Emma is nominated. I usually refrain from posting fan and more minor polls, but since there’s so much buzz about this one, definitely go check it out and vote! Emma is currently fourth on the list of the “Top 30 Under 30″ celebrities, with the Twilight cast leading by a large margin and Tokio Hotel and the Jonas Brothers pulling in second and third.

  2. They have to shoot something for the theme park. There’s no other time but between HBP and DH. So there you are.

    I hope the Chanel rumor is true. I’m for anything that gives us more Emma. More photos, more TV, anything.

  6. emma visited coco chanel’s apartment-paris last yr.so i guess it’s kinda real the deal.plus word’s been going ard recently too.n she’s been chanel’s ambassador since early 2007.here’s something else too

  8. If the face-of-Chanel thing IS true than Emma becomes instantly a million times cooler than she already is!

    I read in the London Paper today that sources confirm the rumour yet she (Emma) is denying it. An official announcement next month, apparently. Cool stuff huh?

  10. Um … on the one hand, this can be true, but on the other hand, it can’t because she’s probably too young … but little Emma grows up faster than we think into a gorgeous woman so … patience ^^
    She will, for sure, sign up for Chanel, I’m pretty convinced … now it’s just a matter of time !
