Emma featured in ‘Io Donna’, asked to be an ambassador and singlehandedly declared world peace.
Kthnxtrufax.
Moving on, thanks to a tip from Snitch Seeker and Portkey we’ve got two scans from this month’s edition of Io Donna, in which she talks about fame, recognition, university and fashion! Emma also comments briefly on the Twilight phenomena. (Anyone one who could provide a full translation would be extremely helpful!)
Did you want the main role in Twilight?
I haven’t had time to read it…. I think I should because it’s getting more and more famous.
For British press, you are a fashion icon. Could you describe your style?
I’m a true Londoner. The weather is a bit grey. That encourages a freaky fashion. I mix the street style with vintage. I enjoy it. My mother is very stylish, I learned a lot from her. source
The Mirror is reporting that Emma has been asked to be an ambassador for Greenpeace. It’s a very short article, with only two sentences in fact! Nothing particularly rivetting to be honest. Filing this under ‘rumours’, h’okay? Also added, a few more high qualities from the BAFTA 2009 shoot, thanks to OMW.net.

Hi girls,
I guess you need a contact form. It’s a little bit difficult to cantact you.
There is a German translation of a part of the IO Donna interview. But I’m afraid that German is not your favorite language :o)
I was trying to translate it into English and I hope you can read it without any problems.
Ok, here are 5 more questions …
Q: You are working and learning. And you will start a study briefly.
Emma: It is a interesting part of my life. I am growing up anyway. It is a little bit anxiety-provoking, because I will move out at home. Maybe I will decide for a study at an american university, but I am not absolutly sure.
Q: Why, Oxford and Cambridge are near your home?
Emma: In the United States you can attend 4 various fields of study and specialize later. In England you can attend only one field and then you have to do it for 3 years. This is restrictive.
Q: Some names?
Emma: Mmmh, Harvard, Yale, Columbia.
Q: And Kate Moss?
Emma: She has a great style, too. Anyone can see, that she is wearing her own dresses. In America you can’t do anything without your stylist.
Q: Are you bowing to slim mania?
Emma: It was never a mania for me. I don’t think that it is a good thing to be too thin. I don’t dieting. I like nice food and cooking dinner. I can really bake a good cake with raspberries or macaroons.
(Perhaps she is meaning muffins. In the German translation they Wrote ‘Makronen’ and the English translation is macroons.)

That would be cool, but since when has Greenpeace ever been classified as a charity? Hmmm…

Anonymous – twas just a joke. The subject I put in was so packed, I thought ‘world peace’ would be an awesome thing to add at the end. :)
