Thanks to Oclumencia and Snitch Seeker, we’ve gotten word of what seems to be the start of ‘Half Blood Prince’ promotionals. According this press release, we now know that WB is planning to release a brand new international trailer for the sixth Potter flick on Thursday 16th April 2009, with downloadable links being released a while later. The following co-ordinates were given:

Further detail as to the content of the trailer was released, with the regular doom-and-gloom of Potter 6 trickling through, plus the added ‘comedy’ which arises from the tensions between the Golden Trio and others. The summary mentions Voldemort’s plans to overtake the Muggle and Wizarding worlds, the fame-seeking Professor Slughorn, Romilda Vane and her feindish attempts to capture the Boy Who Lives’ heart, the Weasley romance with Lavender Brown and Hermione’s unwillingness to reveal her feelings, even when faced with extreme jealousy. If you think I made most of that up, or waffle on too much, here’s an excerpt from the official release:

Also, Oclumencia got wind that Yahoo!Movies will also debut some new character banners and posters, with high qualities hopefully being provided no later than Monday. Well, now that’s exciting HBP news, isn’t it? I say, bring it on.

Final word – the gallery has once again decided to be tempremental and moody and has gone and gotten itself infected once more with a trojan. At this moment, I’m re-uploading and re-upgrading the gallery, even though I removed all the possible infected files.
