After all, you must remember Hermione does lighten up a lot compared to the first few books in the Deathly Hallows, she is no longer a bushy-haired 12 year old, so we can't treat Hermione like that anymore. Just because she is still bookish doesn't mean she must look like a nerd, she is allowed to be elegant and beautiful too. If that doesn't convince you, if these photos are a reference to the WEDDING part of DH, then of course we could expect Hermione to wear some georgeous dresses and get all 'dolled-up' for it. It's a wedding. I think these new set pictures are fantastic. Bravo to the costume designer! Well I think the red dress make Emma look absolutely wonderful, and will suit Hermione perfectly too. By once again tainting the image of Hermione from a loveable, messy-haired nerd, to yourself. Just because you're too conceited to have your hair a shade darker and wear less stylish clothing, your ruining the whole image of the Harry Potter trio for fans and probably even Jk Rowling. As much as you'd like to think..people arn't payed ten dollars a ticket to see "emma watson" - we want to see the harry potter characters brought to life, not some conceited teen actress trying to look good on the big screen. The only scene I'm looking forward to in this is when she gets tortured, how can someone be so vain and selfish as to ruin the most beloved series and characters in the world!
