The release of fall ad campaigns is causing some excitement over at iheartwatson.net! No, we haven’t suddenly become models or designers or extraordinarily rich and beautiful Upper East Side teenagers. We’ve got something to ooh and ahh over because Emma’s featured in Burberry’s fall/winter ad campaign! Six images have been added to the gallery, and it’s likely that more photos/scans/quotes/video clips will be showing up online in the next few months as an “interactive digital campaign” with “behind-the-scenes footage” is promised.

UPDATE: Vogue.com blogged yesterday about Graduate Fashion Week, happening right now in London. They mention Emma sitting front row at the University of Northampton show. We’ll let you know if any photos or further info pop up. Thanks to members of the Sassy! forums for the tip!
Blurbs and further info on the campaign:
WESTMINSTER WOMAN: The news coming out of Westminster these days may be bleak — what with ongoing parliamentary scandals and a wobbly British government — but that hasn’t stopped Burberry from celebrating the historic London neighborhood in its new ad campaign. The ads — featuring Emma Watson and shot on location by Mario Testino near Burberry’s new headquarters not far from Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament — showcase a chilly but lovely London.
“I wanted the images to represent both the rich history and the modernity of the Burberry brand, while at the same time reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today,” said Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey.
The campaign breaks in the August issues of magazines including Vanity Fair, Vogue, British Vogue and Tatler. It also will appear on the brand’s Web site early next month to coincide with the magazines’ releases. In August, an interactive digital campaign directed by Bailey that includes podcasts and behind-the-scenes footage will appear on the Burberry site.

“Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign,” said Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey.
“I wanted the images to represent the rich history and modernity of Burberry while reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today.
Emma has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge. Her charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.”
He added: “I felt Emma would be strong enough to hold the campaign as the only girl, and I loved the idea of her being surrounded by these young, cool British guys.”
