10th February 2012 - Emma Watson hosts the Lancôme Pre-BAFTA Party in London!

As part of her ambassadress duties with Lancôme, Emma hosted the Lancôme Pre-BAFTA Cockail Party in London. She wore a red lace Valentino dress and Louboutin pumps. Earlier that day, Emma appeared at Selfridges, London to celebrate the nation-wide release of her newest campaign, 'Rouge in Love' for Lancôme. Emma in New York for “Deathly Hallows” (Updated!)

Seems promotion for “Deathly Hallows” is starting and Emma has just Tweeted that she’s in New York for exactly that! We’ll keep this post here for the (hopefully) inevitable mountain of photos which will arise from this “busy week” that Emma’s got up for her! Perhaps she’s getting a few promo tours done before she starts her second year at Brown?

A Little Later… Emma also updated her official Facebook page about her trip to New York. It gives us a few more details and she confirms it is so she can have a smooth second year at Brown later this year.

After saying I’d keep it interesting I’ve now neglected you all for a week! So, at the moment I’m in New York, doing some press for Deathly Hallows Part 1 before university starts again in the autumn. Lots of things going on – it’s been a busy summer! I’ll be back on here soon, love Emma x source

Edit! And we have some updates! Looks like we won’t be getting many/any photos from Emma’s visit to New York as it is a photoshoot/interview tour with the press. However, we do have a little bit of a headstart with Emma’s face to start appearing all over magazines from October onwards! Thanks to our loyal visitors for the information and to @SnitchSeeker for the clarification!

And it looks like Emma’s nabbed her very first ‘Marie Claire’ cover, with Magazine Shelf exclusively reporting on Twitter that she’ll be gracing the cover either in November or December!

In regards to @EmWatson doing Deathly Hallows press in NYC this week, Warner Bros informed us that it is ONLY for magazine shoots/features. source

What kind of promotion could she be doing now? I wonder if it’s those press junket interviews that they show online or something-or maybe just an interview for TV. I’m sure she’d tell us if the interview was going to show on TV.

I hope the DH Part 1 premiere is in LA, and the DH Part 2 premiere is in NYC. If it’s the opposite, then I have a very slim chance of going to any of them. I had plans for years to go to the last premiere, if it’s in LA, I don’t know if I can wing that roadtrip from NY again… Only time will tell.

I think it may be interviews for TV or magazines (like Kristin said), because it’s too soon to be doing any other type of promotion. But finally we can see that they are starting promoting the movie! It would be nice some new stills :)
