Summit Entertainment have finally released the theatrical date for Emma’s first indie flick, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”. Directed and written by Stephen Chombsky, Emma stars as Sam, the gawky protagonist’s primary love interest; the film boasts quite a hefty Hollywood cast including: Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, Paul Rudd, Mae Whitman, Dylan McDermott and Melanie Lynskey. “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” will hit limited screens from 14 September 2012.

The trailer for “Perks” will make its debut at the MTV Movie Awards 2012, where it will be introduced by the principle cast of the film, Emma, Logan and Ezra. Emma will also present at this year’s celebrations.

THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER will open on September 14, 2012 in limited release, from Summit Entertainment.
