As we’ve told you previously, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” will be having its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The entire film schedule has been released and “Perks” has two screenings – assumedly, one is the premiere, the other a repeat screening. According to the official “Perks” page at the TIFF website, “Perks” will premiere on September 8 at the Ryerson Theatre at 6:15pm, with a repeat screening the next day on September 9 at the Cineplex Yonge & Dundas 7 at 3:30pm.
Emma is also listed in the official press release as an expectant star to attend the film festival. Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller and Stephen Chbosky are also slated to attend. (Thank you to Lindsey from RachelMcAdams.org for forwarding on the news.)
This will, assumedly, be the beginnings of “Perks” promotion. “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” is also set to premiere in Los Angeles on September 10 according to this tweet by Nina Dobrev.
