Greetings Emma fans! My name is Sarah and I am thrilled to be joining the staff here at IHW! I live in Nashville, TN, so I apologize in advance if my southern charm makes an appearance. I have been an Emma fan ever since we were first introduced to the magic of the Harry Potter films. IHW has always been my favorite Emma source, and I am so excited to be able to work here and make it grow even more.

Late last month, Emma was honored with her very own wax figure at the world famous Madame Tussauds in London. Madame Tussaud is celebrated for her life-like wax sculptures of celebrities.

Helle Emmalings! I am so sorry for absence, I haven’t been feeling very well – I managed to finally find some time to update however, and we also now have 3 lovely ladies joining the team to help out so you will never how to go without Emma news for so long again!

While I was off feeling sorry for myself, our fabulous Emma was awarded the Trailblazer award by MTV. I have added a handful of photos to the gallery for you to look at – but I’m sure more are on their way!

Hello fellow Emma fans! I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Carmel and as Siobhan already said I am one of the three new Emma fans maintaining this website! I’ve been a fan of IHW.net ever since it was opened so I am thrilled to work on this now.

As for my update, back in January Emma attended the People’s Choice Awards where she won the award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Tons of HQ photos have been added to our gallery including a portrait session that Emma did. Enjoy!

To make up for my absence (sorry about that) I have a mammoth update for you today!

First of all, the official trailer for This is the End has been released and uploaded to the web. We know Emma only has a small role in this movie, but it should be an entertaining one (be warned, this trailer is violent and contains swear words!).

Now, we’re introducing the 22-year-old superstar as you’ve never seen her before. In the May issue of GQ, out 4 April, Watson talks stardom, sex and stalkers with Dylan Jones. Plus, see her stunning cover shoot in character as Nicki, her pole-dancing, thieving Valley vixen in Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring, shot by Mark Seliger.

“When I read the script and I realised that essentially it was a meditation on fame and what it’s become to our society, I had to do it,” says Watson of The Bling Ring. “The character is everything that I felt strongly against – she’s superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral.  She’s all of these things and I realised that I hated her.  How do you play someone you hate?  But I found it really interesting and it gave me a whole new insight into what my job, or my role as an actress, could be.”

There was another reason Watson chose the risqué role: it wasn’t a period drama.  “Really I was open-minded about doing anything, but the one thing I didn’t want to do was get myself into a corset because I was worried I’d never get out again,” she says.  “I knew it would be a really comfortable thing to do, but I felt… I had to dive into something really different. This has been a really big departure for me; it’s a really big character. That’s so exciting for me because it meant I was really acting.”
