@LancomeNews, the Spanish Twitter of the Lancôme corporation, has been twittering about Emma! According to their feed ‘Glamour’ magazine has had an interview with Emma while she was staying a the Paris Ritz. They also twittered snippets from their interview stating that: Emma loves Spain and has many friends from there and hopes that she can visit one day (1); she is very laid back with the interview and very friendly (2); and she’s wearing a very sixties inspired ensemble – a cream minidress (her favourite colour, apparently), DVF ballet flats – which matches her hair cut (3).

EmmaWatson.com has been updated with a new picture a small recount of the night. The update also mentions that a short ‘film’ from the night will be released in the coming week – eee! – so we’ll keep a look out for that, m’kay? Check out the entire update below.

On Monday, May 9th in Paris, Lancôme celebrated its latest feminine fragrance, Trésor Midnight Rose, at the occasion of a dazzling party given in honour of Emma Watson.

Hundreds of beautiful guests gathered together for the event and danced to the rythm of the rock band Puggy, amongst which were the photographers Mario Testino and Dominique Issermann, the fashion designer Alber Elbaz and the French actor Cyril Descours.

Emma has also updated her official site to clarify and give her side of the story regarding where she will return to University in September. She speaks on the bullying rumour, her third year choices and her excitement at starting “Perks” filming!

Dear all,

I felt the need to let you all know the reason I took a semester off from Brown had nothing to do with bullying as the media have been suggesting recently. I have never been bullied in my life and certainly never at Brown. This ’10 points to Gryffindor’ incident never even happened. I feel the need to say this because accusing Brown students of something as serious as bullying and this causing me to leave seems beyond unfair.

Please don’t try and speculate about what I might do in September – no one can possibly know because I don’t even know yet! Like my other fellow Brown students I am trying to figure out my third year and whether or not I will spend it abroad (this is common).

I hope you all liked the new Harry Potter trailer. I am off to Pittsbugh soon to start “The Perks of being a Wallflower”. I’ve just got back from hanging out with Stephen Chobosky (the director and writer), Logan and Ezra (the two other principal actors) and I already know this is going to be an incredible experience. I feel very lucky.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick message to say thank you for all the Birthday wishes and gifts you’ve sent. I’m continually overwhelmed by the support from you all. It means so much to me, so thank you very much.

Turning 21 is a significant occasion for everyone, and it’s proved to be quite a milestone.

I’ve completed my first year of study at Brown University. As I’m sure you’re all aware, November saw the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Filming for the final instalment of Harry Potter has also reached an end, an experience that was incredibly poignant for everyone involved.

My second fair trade fashion collection for People Tree came out in February, and in March my Pure Threads collaboration with Alberta Ferretti was released. It’s been great fun working with such marvellous people, and this year I plan to continue pursuing my love of fashion, working as an ambassadress for Lancôme.

Elsewhere I’ve been preparing for the start of filming The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I can’t wait to start work on the film, and look forward to new challenges.

On my Birthday I look forward to spending some time with my friends and family. Once again, thank you so much for all your support.

Emma also released a statement, via her official site, about the line and her design process; Safia, the head honcho of People Tree, has also released a small statement about Emma and her work ethics. Two videos from the photoshoot have also been added and can be seen below.

“I designed the collection last year after I’d started university in the US,” Emma revealed. “Safia, People Tree’s founder, and Misato, People Tree’s designer, came out to work with me in Rhode Island. Together we decided on all the colours, fabrics, shapes and craft skills. Most of all, we took care to design a really wearable collection that truly celebrates the traditional skills of People Tree’s fair trade groups around the world.”

“I was amazed at how many hours Emma put into this collection. We’d often go to her home in the evening after she finished filming to go through ideas, or she’d come to the studio laden with her own artwork – it was extremely impressive.”

Well, I think it’s safe to say this has been a pretty busy year for me!

On the work front, I designed an organic clothing collection with Alberta Ferretti due out next Spring, a fair trade range for People Tree also due to be released in the Spring, fronted the Burberry Spring/Summer 2010 campaign, had my first British Vogue cover, filmed a small part in My Week With Marilyn alongside Michelle Williams and Eddie Redmayne and, of course, filming finished on the very last Harry Potter film!

I also completed my first year at Brown and began my second year this September. I am so glad I made the decision to go to university there – it continues to be an amazing experience and I have made so many great friends. Oh, and I had a haircut, you might have read about it…!

I just wanted to send you all a quick message to say Merry Christmas. I continue to be overwhelmed by the love and support you all give to me. I really do appreciate it.

So wherever you are this December, I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and wish you a wonderful New Year.

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson will appear in the promo for Say You Don’t Want It, which is set to receive its premiere next week. Watson became pals with frontman George Craig after the pair appeared together in a poster campaign for Burberry.

Described in the press release as ‘an instantly memorable song which talks of living like stars’, Say You Don’t Want It is the first single to be taken from the band’s as-yet-untitled second album, which is due for release on August 23rd. source

Emma Watson Official has also been updated confirming that Emma is indeed in talks with the producers of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” as we reported last week. Jo also states that this is not the only project that Emma in considering in partaking in! The website was also updated briefly on Emma’s recent trip to Orlando visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

And a reminder to keep an eye out for new Emma pictures which may be coming our way as more reports of Emma (along with her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint) are attending tonight’s “National Movie Awards” ceremony. It’s a project I love and am attached to, but I don’t know if or when it will happen. I hope if does. I’m afraid that’s the nature of filmmaking. You learn to not become too emotionally involved as scripts come and go and many of them never get off the ground.

Why did you choose Brown University of a British one?
I was seriously torn as to whether to stay in the UK or go to the States as let’s face it the UK has some of the best universities in the world. But, ultimately, I loved the course at Brown and really liked the idea of experiencing a different country and culture – and I must say I’ve never been happier, I absolutely love Brown.
