Edit! WWD Fashion have released an article speaking on the new Burberry campaign. They talked briefly on the relationship between Emma and Alex Watson and the dynamics between them which led to Alex’s inclusion in the campaign and subsequent signing to Storm Models, alongside big sister Emma Watson.

According to a Burberry spokesman, chief creative officer Christopher Bailey met Alex through Emma, and “loved their dynamic, their brother and sister energy,” so he decided to take a chance and use him in the campaign. Alex, who has the same sharp chin and fierce brows as his elder sibling, has since been signed to Storm, Emma’s agency. source

TimesOnline.co.uk have released “The Top 30 Power Players Under 30” list, with Emma coming in at number four, right behind Keria Knightley! Other honourable mentions include: ‘Goblet of Fire’ co-star Robert Pattinson and international supermodels Lily Cole and Agyness Dean!

As the face of Burberry this season, Watson went from gawky schoolgirl to fashion ingénue. Shunning movies to study literature at Brown University in America — inspired by her mentor, JK Rowling — is a savvy move. Christopher Bailey, the creative director of Burberry, says: “She was the obvious choice for our campaign. She has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge.” source

Also, the nominees list for next year’s People’s Choice Awards have been released with Potter nabbing one nomination: “Favourite On-Screen Team”. They’re up against the cast from Transformers, X-Men: Origins and the Twilight cast. You can vote online at the People’s Choice Awards website. The show is set to broadcast live on January 6th, 2010.

An entirely new photo from Emma’s photoshoot with Elle UK is in the galleries. As always, we’ll have more and larger images up if possible ASAP!

There are currently 219 high-qualities available in the gallery. According to The Leaky Cauldron’s Twitter, everyone is now inside the theater and so things are calmed down a bit. Another Leaky Twitter update let the world know that Emma’s dress is vintage – 1970s Ozzie Clark. I was also able to add two more outtakes from the Arved Colvin-Smith photoshoot – I’m pretty sure they’re the same picture but cut at different places and one is bigger than the other. Oh well! Enjoy anyway! Also, the full interview for the Times Magazine scans are online, with Emma talking about ‘The Kiss’ between Potter sidekickers, Ron and Hermione. The kiss has been filmed and was done in six takes! Both Rupert and Emma have issued statements about the kiss:

“We did it two weeks ago,” she said. “Four takes one way and two takes with the camera in the other direction. Six takes altogether.” Emma Watson on ‘The Kiss’ in HP7, source

Also in this post, another couple of scans featuring Emma as Hermione from the upcoming ‘Potter’ flick, due to premiere in Tokyo next week! A note, we do not know if Emma will be at the Tokyo premiere, but we have confirmed that she will be making appearances at the London and Los Angeles premiere of the movie, so keep those eyes peeled!

In other Potter-related news, a French behind-the-scenes video has appeared online! From the French 50 Minutes Inside program, the feature showcased brand new footage, new interviews with the main and supporting cast and some really indepth looks at some of the Potter sets, including Slughorn’s Party (with Hermione in a light pink dress) and Gred and Forge’s shop. Bit later … London Taxi Tours spotted the Trio shooting in Whitehall, London on June 28th. The site is reporting that they were filming “Ministry scenes” from ‘Deathly Hallows’. They were able to snap a few photos, which can be seen at the their website. Also, The Scottish Sunday Mail has posted interviews with Daniel Radcliffe and Jim Broadbent on their experiences on set. Dan comments on Emma’s “mad” ping-pong skills:

“Emma is not allowed to play because she really is too good,” laughs Dan. “If she comes into the room to play we say we are too tired. But we really can’t face the humiliation of being beaten by her again.” source
