The Harry Potter fandom is glowing with anticipation as two big “Deathly Hallows” related promos are coming our way towards the end of this month! Not only have we got a trailer coming June 28th 2010 (it’s also attached to the latest “Twilight” movie) but rumours have been going around of an official teaser poster coming our way! WB have been tweeting up a storm on their official Twitter about the upcoming trailer premiere! Keep your eyes peeled for that!
Also in other-Emma related news, the long awaited “Say You Don’t Want It” music video will be premiering on Channel4 this Saturday morning between 9:50 and 9:55am! There will be a repeat on Channel4+1 at 10:50am on Saturday if you miss the first airing. Thanks to George Craig and Snitch Seeker for the news!
Looks like Potter fans are in for a big week ahead!
NBC have released The Making of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter behind-the-scenes video. New video material in the videos includes behind-the-scenes footage for the Forbidden Journey ride and some cast interviews (yes, Emma was interviewed!). This video is in no way dial-up friendly and goes for almost half an hour, so be warned.
The feature has also been updated onto Youtube by Snitch Seeker, in three parts. Check ‘em out: part the first, part the seond and part the third! For those who don’t want to watch the video and are only curious as to what Emma looks like in these interviews, it’s the same interview set from the “Magical World of Harry Potter” Sneak Peek on the ‘Half Blood Prince’ DVD.
MTV came through with their promise and posted a teaser trailer for the two “Deathly Hallows” movies during their awards ceremony. Boasting scenes with kisses, angst and lots of drama this movie is well on it’s way to becoming an epic final installment! Hermione doesn’t have many spoken scenes (apart from an anguished “No!”) but she does appear quite a bit alongside co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
It’s a little blurry but I’m sure a clearer version will be released very soon! Thanks to Snitch Seeker a brand new, high definition trailer has been added! See every moment with impeccable clarity! Unfortunately Emma didn’t win her MTV Award (that went to Kristen Stewart) but we had a minor Potter victory with Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) nabbing the “Best Villain” award! Congrats to Tom!
Following on from our previous post another batch of high quality photos from the event have been added – including a whole lot from the actual show! Refer to our previous post for information on Emma’s acceptance speech and her the maker of her designer play suit! We’ll keep adding photos as the day goes along. Don’t forget to check out our taking over the world post where you can click and subscribe to be ontop of all the Emma news!

Also a handful of videos from the event have also been released and uploaded onto Youtube, courtesy of DanRadcliffe.com and Snitch Seeker. Videos can be watched here, here and here – video links include a link to the six minute retrospective on the series, commentated by David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jnr.) and Ricky Wilson from the Kaiser Chiefs. Lots of nostalgia!
As we told y’all earlier Emma is making an appearance in One Night Only’s upcoming music video for the single “Say You Don’t Want It”. The band has released a nine-minute long behind the scenes featurette with an introduction from Emma! She isn’t featured much afterwards, however, only making scant appearances in the video at around 4:30 and 7:30 – pretty much like yesterday’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it on the set photo! Thanks to Snitch Seeker for the news!
Check out the video below; screen captures have been added into the ihwmedia.net galleries.
Warning: Some language and adult themes present in the video. Also half-naked British boys. :D
As we previously reported it was speculated that Emma would make an appearance on the “Today Show” to announce the winners of NBC’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter competition. Emma did in fact make an appearance – live from the theme park itself! Along with announcing the winners of the competition, Emma Watson and cast mates Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Matt Lewis (Neville) and James and Oliver Phelps (Gred and Forge Weasley), posed for a cutesy photo at the theme park! Another photo was released not long ago with surprised!Emma checking out Honeydukes!

And thanks to Snitch Seeker we’ve got the video of Emma announcing the winners live from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in embeddable Youtube format! After you’re done gawking at the cuteness of the above photo, don’t forget to watch the video!
Another video has been released of the cast trying different theme park attractions – including Emma trying Butterbeer! I can’t find an embeddable video, so check it out at this article (in the left hand sidebar). Video added!
Great news for all Emma fans – the first high quality picture from Emma’s “Vanity Fair” spread has been added into our galleries. Scans and other photoshoot images can be found in our previous posts.

Also the whole “Vanity Fair” article has been transcribed and placed in the press archives. It really is a riveting read and gives some great insight into young!Emma and into current!Emma; her recounts of selecting university courses and her description of “normal normal” life really makes her seem incredibly grounded and down to earth.
Retaining as much as she could of a normal A student’s life was critical to Watson. Juggling work and school was somewhat doable at the beginning. By age 15 she felt she was slipping from where she should have been in her secondary school, the Headington School for Girls, in Oxford. It wasn’t like Hermione to fall behind, and it wasn’t like Emma. by the time she contemplating the sixth form, with her A-levels getting closer, she felt even more painfully conflicted. “I’m juggling two parents, juggling between two different lives – I just felt like I have been ripped in a million pieces. I had a bit of a freak-out,” says Watson. “But then I took a deep beath. I was like, I can, I will make it work. I’m not prepared to give up either thing, so I’m just going to work my ass off and do them both.” You can almost hear Hermione say these very words – without the “ass part”. As it turned out, she got the highest score possible on all three A-levels. read more
