Deadline.com are reporting that Emma is set for a reunion with “Potter” director, David Yates, to star in an upcoming drama, “Your Voice in My Head”. According to the article, Warner Bros. are attempting to buy the script rights to produce the flick, with Yates as director. Emma would play “a young woman who attempts suicide before being saved by a New York-based psychiatrist who’s dying of cancer”.

Collider.com added that, along with Emma as the female lead, George Clooney and Tom Hanks are currently in negotiations for the psychiatrist role.

Warner Bros is negotiating to acquire Your Voice in My Head, the Emma Forrest-scripted drama based on the scribe’s memoir that is expected to be the next film by director David Yates. The film is shaping up to be a Harry Potter reunion. Yates is in discussions with Emma Watson to star in the role of a young woman who attempts suicide before being saved by a New York-based psychiatrist who’s dying of cancer. Further completing the Harry Potter reunion on Your Voice in My Head is the fact that Warner Bros. is negotiating to acquire the film. As for the male lead in the project, Deadline reports that the studio is aiming for a big name as Tom Hanks and George Clooney are apparently in the mix. Personally, I’m ecstatic to see Yates take on such delicate dramatic material. I felt he capped the Harry Potter franchise off perfectly with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, and I’m incredibly excited to see where he takes his career next. via Collider.com

Edit! Rumour revoked – Aussie actor Hugh Jackman confirms that Emma is “not associated” with the project to BroadwayWorld.com.

A few news sources are reporting that Emma is amongst a handful of Hollywood starlets who is “being courted” for the role of Cosette in Tom Hooper’s upcoming film adaptation of ‘Les Miserables’. ‘Les Miserables’ is a literary nineteenth century classic and the movie will be based on the Broadway musical; Emma is rumoured to be offered the role of Cosette. Excerpts from WhatCulture.com and NextMovie.com relating to Emma can be seen below.

Australian actors Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe have been confirmed for the film, and Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange in the ‘Potter’ films) are apparently in discussion for roles.

Please note the “RUMOUR” tag allocated to this post!

Casting is getting aggressive and industry tracking site It’s On The Grid report that Hayden Panettiere, Miranda Cosgrove, Lucy Hale and Emma Watson are being courted for Eponine and Cosette with Amy Adams and Rebecca Hall wanted for Fantine. WhatCulture.com

No other cast members have been announced yet, though actors who have been courted for roles include Geoffrey Rush for Thenardier, Helena Bonaham Carter for Madame Thenardier, Emma Watson for Cosette and Lucy Hale for Eponine. i-D Magazine are reporting that their next issue, the ‘Pick Me Up Issue’, will feature an a piece on Emma Watson, taken straight from the set of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” in Pittsburgh. The site says nothing about when the issue will be out, only noting that the issue would be “out soon”.

We take a trip to the Margate seaside with Ash and Aggy and Dr. Martens, and cross the pond to party in Pittsburgh with the bewitchingly wonderful Emma Watson. Read more at the source.

In other Emma-related news “My Week with Marilyn”, the biopic feature film starring Michelle Williams and Eddie Redmayne, has been slated in for it’s world premiere happening during the New York Film Festival on October 9. “My Week with Marilyn” is also rumoured to be featured at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). We have no news as to whether Emma will be present for the either premiere – the dates cut close to her Oxford semester abroad – but we’ll keep you updated as news becomes available.

There’s also an unsupported rumour that Emma will be at the Teen Choice Awards this weekend. It has been confirmed that Emma will not be in attendance and is on her way back to the UK. So far from the “Potter” crew, only Tom Felton has been confirmed and it is “hopeful” that Rupert Grint will be in attendance Rupert has also been confirmed to be at the awards show. Emma is, however, nomtinated in several categories this year – you can vote once daily, but you do need to register with the site to vote (there are lots of “Potter” nominations as well) – voting closes at midnight August 4th.

Rumour: Emma attached to reinvisioned “Beauty and the Beast” project?

Slash Film and Indie Wire, plus a heap of other movie news sites, are reporting that Emma has snagged the lead role in an upcoming reinvisioning of “Beauty and the Beast”. The movie is currently being developed and produced by Guillermo del Toro of “Pan’s Labyrinth” fame. Emma has previously expressed that del Toro is one of her favourite directors to ‘Interview’ magazine in April 2009. Thank you to Josh for the tip.

Edit! ProductionWeekly.com are reporting that Emma has been confirmed for the lead role in “Beauty”. Guillermo Del Toro will direct the piece and Denise Di Novi is producing; it will be distributed by Warner Bros. and will be a retelling of the original “Beauty and the Beast” story. Emma nor her representatives have confirmed or denied Emma’s involvement.

Edit! At a press Q&A at Comic-Con 2011, ET!Canada Tweeted that del Toro confirmed that Emma was “in talks” for his “Beauty and the Beast” adaptation.

As for Beauty and the Beast, the fact of the film being developed is all we’ve got right now. While we don’t know the identity of the screenwriter, or indeed if anyone has written a script at this point, the fact of Guillermo del Toro’s involvement suggests that this will be a darker version than most. Perhaps something closer to the Jean Cocteau version, which has already influenced a legion of filmmakers? And with Harry Potter closed, Emma Watson is sure to be in demand, so there is serious incentive to lock up her participation and get the project moving forward now. We could very likely hear more about this later in the week from Comic Con. Read more at the source.

Undoubtedly, the new project will be a much more Del Toro-y take on the material than ever before, perhaps skewing for an older audience as Hermione is now all growns up and probably looking to try some edgier roles on for size. She’s already got two decidedly non-special effects heavy, non-franchise movies on the way with a role in “My Week With Marilyn” which hits this fall and she heads up the adaptation of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” which will land sometime next year. Emma’s BTS video for ‘Harper’s Bazaar UK’, press junket dates/rumours

As you may recall, Emma Watson is the August covergirl for ‘Harper’s Bazaar UK’. A behind-the-scenes video from the shoot has been released and in it, Emma talks about the complexities of the shoot and comments on how hard to was to get into the alter-ego of a bitchy, cold, hardened “naughty” id when compared to the floaty, ethereal and lighter “nice” id. The video also gives us previews about the other outfits Emma wore for the shoot and what type of pictures will be featured in the editorial. A handful of photos from the shoot have already been released and it is rumoured that there will be a total of eight different photos in the editorial.

Video is now on Youtube – no more autoplay! Yay!

And details about upcoming press interviews and junkets are slowly trickling in with Ricky Boleto from CBBC Newsround mentioning that he will be conducting interviews with Emma, Rupert and Tom on Monday, and CNN International correspondent, Becky Anderson, will also interview the cast. This week should have a whole heap of new interviews and press releases with the lead up to the “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ London premiere on Thursday afternoon/night.

WatsonUncensored, via MarkMeets, is reporting that the photocall and press conference for “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ will be on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Dorcester Hotel. We’re also anticipating interviews on ‘Daybreak’ and ‘BBC Breakfast’ but we’ll have to wait and see (Emma was on both programs last year to promote “Deathly Hallows: Part 1″) – ‘Daybreak‘ have already tweeted about the start of their “Harry Potter” week.

New photos fresh from the set of Emma’s latest production, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”, have appeared online. Decked out in a labcoat, and from the show: nothing much else underneath!, Emma and co-stars, Ezra Miller and Mae Whitman, were caught on their way from a wrapped scene. A handful of photos from the day have been added into our galleries.

In other news-rumour developments, Emma has been listed as a participant in an upcoming charity initiative. Shelter Box‘s ‘Celebrity Big Box and Buy Auction’ has listed, amongst stars like Helen Mirren and Dame Judi Dench, Emma as a donator towards the auction. Their latest news article and information page shows a picture of Emma towards the bottom with other donators. The auction is set for next Saturday, 11 June, so hopefully we’ll have some clarification/confirmation/debunking closer to the date.
