Jo has updated EWO to shed some light on the recent press releases relating to Emma in a new movie, Napoleon and Betsy. Tip from EW.net!

We would just like to state that although Emma is interested in this project, nothing has been confirmed yet, and no official start date for this production has yet been given.

March 8, 2008: Emma to go to Empire Awards ‘08! Unofficial charity event?

Thanks to a tip from Samantha Lauren and Hermione Jean, Emma has confirmed that she will be attending the Empire Awards 2008. In a brief EMS, she speaks of the harrowing week ahead for her, with the awards and exam prep time. Best of luck to Emma with these! Little tidbit from Emma:

Really looking forward to going to the Empire Awards on Sunday, things will get really busy with exam preparations after the weekend, so this will be my last evening of freedom!!!! I think I’m also presenting an award whcich will be great! I really hope it will be a good night for Potter! Fingers crossed!

And while I was there, Jo updated to inform us that Emma’s clothes raised £2,050.00 for Sense! Congrats to the lucky fan (presumably) who won!

Thanks to arun we have an article mentioning Emma at a charity event for Safe Place Appeal. I’m looking for pictures, but I don’t think there any. If anyone could find the fundraiser website, that might help. Here’s an excerpt of the original article:

February 4, 2008: Empire ‘08 nominations

After months of voting, the results are in and Emma has snagged a nomation for Best Actress at this year’s Sony Ericsson Empire Awards! Dan and the HP:OotP film team have also nabbed some nomations. Unfortunately, Rupert did not receive a nomination; there has been no mention of Emma attending these awards, but stay tuned for more news.
