Wednesday August 25th 2010 in People Tree's Autumn/Winter Campaign for 2010.
After a successful stint as creative consultant for People Tree's "Love from Emma" range, Emma returned as the face of People Tree for their autumn/winter campaign. While she did not play an active role in the design and style of clothing, she did participate in promotion around Dhaka, Bangladesh; Emma not only toured the slums of the workers, but also helped in the manufacture of some clothing, gave out food packages to the children of Dhaka and even helped in one of the primary schools as a tutor!

High quality People Tree Autumn/Winter Campaign Photoshoot
As we promised yesterday, we’ve added a handful of high quality untagged promotional images from Emma’s current fashion endorsement, People Tree Youth autumn/winter campaign. We’ll try and get our hands on the rest of the shoot, but for now here’s the four we’ve got. Enjoy!
And for those who missed yesterday’s update, we’ve now got the entire Emma Watson and People Tree tour of Bangladesh video screen captures uploaded in our galleries.
And for those who are keeping track of our content and who participated in our site maintenance suggestion box, we’ve got some goodies up for you! As per your suggestions, we’ve updated the following pages: our biography page is now up to date and now features her brand new pixie cut headshot; Essentially Emma has been updated and now features official links, university details and a bit of info on her major (if we’re incorrect about her major, please drop us a line!); current looks has been updated and we’ll try and it keep it as up-to-date as possible; we’ve changed the 2010 photo in the over the years section to feature her new pixie cut; Emma’s family has been given a wee bit of a revamp and now features pictures!; magazine covers is now up-to-date with missing 2009/10 covers added; our hairstyle timeline page has been updated; and our Emma with celebrities page has become famous faces and it got a face lift (bad pun, my apologies!). Phew, and as far as I can remember, that’s what we’ve done so far!

Screen captures from Emma’s Bangali video added
As you may recall, last week a whole slew of new media from Emma’s visit to Bangladesh was released; unfortunatel due to technical difficulties we were only able to add about a one-third of screen captures from the video. However, all the screen captures have now been added and the folder is complete – huzzah!

Upcoming Magazine Covers Revealed!
As you may recall, Emma initially went to New York to get a headstart on promotions for “Deathly Hallows” and was in the city for magazine photoshoots and interviews for the movie; luckily, MagazineShelf on Twitter has released a list of covers and magazines that Emma will be appearing on in the later months of this year, including:

MagazineShelf have also given us a little bit of a teaser, revealing that Emma will be the “Teen Vogue” covergirl for December 2010/January 2011! We can only assume that her other covers will start appearing around October/November-ish, as “Deathly Hallows” premieres worldwide in November.

Emma and George on the Jo Whitley Show – NOT DATING, NOT DATING.
Edit! False alarm, guys. Seems their phrases were taken out of context. In this video George states that he and Emma considered dating but found it too inconvenient as it would’ve been a harrowing long-distance relationship.
As we reported yesterday, Emma and George have made a joint appearance on the Jo Whitley Show and among other discussion topics: confirm that they are dating see above video and explanation! This is just after Emma being spotted repeatedly with the One Night Only front man; apparently the pair have been swapping music for quite a while and they came up with the story (and unlikely twist!) for the “Say You Don’t Want It” music video which premiered yesterday.

“We’ve been friends since the Burberry shoot. And when I was in the states, George was taking me through a lot of his music as he was recording it. I couldn’t believe [how good the music was]. I’m a big fan. Everything he did was amazing.”
“I just really wanted to be involved somehow and we did [ONO's 'Say You Don't Want It'] video together. It was very much our idea. It’s kind of an ode to Lady and the Tramp. George is Tramp and I’m Lady. George finds me [because] I’m lost and in a dodgy part of New York. He slowly wins me over and there’s a bit of a twist at the end.”

George Craig just tweeted that he and Emma will be guests on the Jo Whitley Show on Radio 1 at about 1:30pm this afternoon. Guess they’re doing joint promotion for “Say You Don’t Want It”?
Anyway back to today’s updates, we’ve got captures and the music video from “Say You Don’t Want It” plus heaps of high quality goodies from Emma and George at the Glastonbury Music Festival!

Emma Watson appears in “Vanity Fair” magazine!
And here we go again! Emma’s latest appearance at the Costume Institute Ball (covered heavily by yours truely for the past two days) pales in comparrison as a new photo, shot by Patrick Demarchelier, features Emma Watson in the acclaimed Vanity Fair magazine!
She’s decked head-to-toe in Chanel garb and in the interview talks about her similarities to Hermione, her first week at Brown, going to a frat party and her elected courses! All in all a cutesy read – check it out here in our press archives.

Happy Wizarding World Independence Day!
Not exactly Emma news, but hey, Hermione related! Happy Wizarding World Independence Day, fellow Muggles and Wizards! Today, according to Potter canon, is the very day that the Battle of Hogwarts was won by the Order of the Phoenix and their allies; Lord Voldemort and his followers were destroyed and the Wizarding World was brought to a much needed peace. Also on Facebook it is apparently “Harry Potter Day” so post your favourite Harry Potter quotes in your statuses!
