Deadline.com are reporting that Emma is set for a reunion with “Potter” director, David Yates, to star in an upcoming drama, “Your Voice in My Head”. According to the article, Warner Bros. are attempting to buy the script rights to produce the flick, with Yates as director. Emma would play “a young woman who attempts suicide before being saved by a New York-based psychiatrist who’s dying of cancer”.

Collider.com added that, along with Emma as the female lead, George Clooney and Tom Hanks are currently in negotiations for the psychiatrist role.

Warner Bros is negotiating to acquire Your Voice in My Head, the Emma Forrest-scripted drama based on the scribe’s memoir that is expected to be the next film by director David Yates. The film is shaping up to be a Harry Potter reunion. Yates is in discussions with Emma Watson to star in the role of a young woman who attempts suicide before being saved by a New York-based psychiatrist who’s dying of cancer. Further completing the Harry Potter reunion on Your Voice in My Head is the fact that Warner Bros. is negotiating to acquire the film. As for the male lead in the project, Deadline reports that the studio is aiming for a big name as Tom Hanks and George Clooney are apparently in the mix. Personally, I’m ecstatic to see Yates take on such delicate dramatic material. I felt he capped the Harry Potter franchise off perfectly with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, and I’m incredibly excited to see where he takes his career next. via Collider.com

The first clip from “My Week With Marilyn” featuring Emma Watson as Lucy the wardrobe girl has been released. In it, Colin Clark (played by Eddie Redmayne) persistently seeks out Lucy and asks her out; after a few flimsy excuses, Lucy finally agrees to Colin’s date. The clip can be viewed below (clearer clip thanks to Damian-Lewis.com!).

Also, two dozen new high quality photos of Emma at the London premiere of “My Week With Marilyn” have been added into the galleries. Aaaaaaaand that brings out high quality total for the evening up to 206! I don’t know about you guys, but I think that’s just enough, no?

Quotes, interviews and whatnots from the “My Week With Marilyn” London Premiere

A couple of nights ago, Emma attended the London premiere of “My Week With Marilyn” and lots of the international media were in attendance. As such, we’ve got a whole heap of interview tidbits and from the red carpet with lots of new Emma quotes about acting, Oxford, future projects and much more! Emma confirms in her People.com red carpet interview that she has projects (emphasis on the plural!) in the works but cannot talk about them as of yet.

In related news, the head costume designer on the set of “My Week With Marilyn” spoke recently to Instyle.co.uk about her project; in the interview, she talks about her inspiration for Lucy’s (Emma’s character) wardrobe and how she came about creating it.

“I’m studying and really excited about my next projects,” she said. “I can’t really talk about them right now, but I am going to try and fit in some film projects next year in between school.”

In My Week with Marilyn, which stars Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, Watson plays Monroe’s wardrobe assistant, Lucy. After the Harry Potter films, she was thrilled to take a role that wasn’t quite as high profile.

“I loved it,” she said. “It was less pressure, but at the same time it was an interesting role, although it was a small role. I loved the script and loved the story, and I’m very interested in Marilyn, so I really wanted to do it.”

And Emma Watson’s character comes across as slightly naïve but fashion conscious. How did you go about defining her character through costume?
I’d found, in my research, an original cast and crew photograph of The Prince and the Showgirl. Emma was based on a real character and so there was a girl, or a couple of girls, that we could have chosen [from the photograph] so I just picked up on one girl and I based Emma on her because she feasibly could’ve been her. She was wearing a tartan dress, so I found Emma an original tartan dress – all of Emma’s clothes were vintage. I also wanted to introduce a touch of the American influence with Emma because the youth culture was just hitting at that period and we had Jimmy Dean, Marlon Brando, Sandra Dee. I wanted to pick up on that Sandra Dee type of character.

Emma is attending the London premiere for “My Week with Marilyn” at this moment, the first photos are already released. We added the first batch in our gallery, keep an eye on this update because we will let you know when we add more. She looks stunning wearing a black skirt and a white glittery top from Jason Wu.

We’ve got a couple dozen of high qualities in the gallery already but we’re in the process of uploading over 100 more! Keep checking back!

UKPA have also uploaded a snippet from their red carpet interview with Emma. In it, Emma talks about how she can “definitely relate” to the celebrity of Marilyn Monroe and how much she can empathise with her position; she also talks briefly about University and working on future projects.

Emma Watson has said she can “definitely relate” to the character of Marilyn Monroe.

Speaking at the London premiere of My Week with Marilyn, Ms Watson, 21, who plays wardrobe assistant Lucy in the film, said: “I certainly feel a lot for her and for what she went through.

“I think she was just trying to find her feet in the midst of this kind of crazy circus that went on around her, and trying to find some sort of balance and some sort of normality in her life, and I can definitely relate to that.”

Ms Watson, wearing an embroidered white top by designer Jason Wu, said she was currently focused on her work at Oxford University, but she said of future projects: “There are a lot of things that I’m lining up.”
