After a successful stint as creative consultant for People Tree's "Love from Emma" range, Emma returned as the face of People Tree for their autumn/winter campaign. While she did not play an active role in the design and style of clothing, she did participate in promotion around Dhaka, Bangladesh; Emma not only toured the slums of the workers, but also helped in the manufacture of some clothing, gave out food packages to the children of Dhaka and even helped in one of the primary schools as a tutor!

Update, update, update! HUZZAH!
Alrighty, first up – Burberry! Over the weekend, a behind-the-scenes video was released, plus thanks to Vogue UK, we’ve got six images – medium quality, but they’re still very, very pretty! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you must check out the Burberry Autumn/Winter campaign featuring Emma.
Also up, scans! This time, from Italy’s Spain’s Io Donna magazine and the South African Seventeen magazine! Both of which feature brand new photoshoot images, and interviews! Woo! If someone would be able to translate the ‘Io Donna’ interview, that would be faboo. You can check those out here (Seventeen) and here (Io Donna).

“Ballet Shoes” Comes to Australia
Australian fans, good news for you today! Ballet Shoes is set to be released in Australia tomorrow (that’s Monday, November 3). Thanks to Ellie for also sending over several sites from which you can pre-order the DVD: Devoted DVD, FBO, EzyDVD, and ABC Shop.
The Australian version of the DVD features a different cover, which has been added to the galleries.

Emma to attend National Movie Awards 2008?
I guess you’ve all had time to breath since the release of the absolutely gorgeous Vogue Italia pictures! In new Emma news, ITV is reporting that Emma will be one of the “fantastic array of stars” presenting at this year’s National Movie Awards. As you all know, the first National Movie Awards was last year, where the Emma won the Best Female Performance. This year’s awards will be held on September 9th, 2008.
The National Movie Awards 2008 will see a fantastic array of stars attend both as nominees and award presenters including Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Samuel L Jackson and Emma Watson.

Rumor is there’s a lot of Ping-Pong played on set and Emma is the one to beat!
RG: I don’t like playing her because it’s really embarassing. She’s so much better than me and Dan, but we’re getting good. We’re quite quick!You’ll have your first Harry Potter kiss in the seventh movie. How do you feel about that?
EW: I think it’s going to be quite awkward, but I was speaking to Dan and Bonnie, and apparently, after a couple of takes it gets boring!Do you ever work with the costume department on choosing Hermione’s clothes?
EW: Yeah. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been more involved. In the beginning, I found it really hard to understand that I was wearing clothes people expected Hermione to wear. I was 10 at the time and I’d get really upset about the clothes because I never would have worn anything like that in my like! I’ve been playing her for so long now that I can have more fun with it.What’s your secret to being the onset Ping-Pong champ?
EW: My parents played and they’re really competitive. They never user to let me win, do I fot quite good at it. Dan and Rupert were quite taken aback that I could beat them. I think Rupert took it the worst.

Ballet Shoes Round-Up
Things have started to appear for the U.S. promotion for Ballet Shoes we have loads of new news and stuff to make you go squee! First off, the US Trailer for the movie has found it’s way onto Youtube.
Also, in other BS related news (bwahaha, I can’t believe I wrote “BS”) there is an official site with theatre and booking locations for the movie – the movie comes out in limited cinemas on Augusts 26th, so don’t forget to check the locations on the site. The Ballet Shoes DVD is set to be released on September 2nd, and this time with special features, including: an exclusive 20-minute interview with Emma Watson, deleted scenes, an excerpt from the Ballet Shoes audiobook (read by Elizabeth Sastre) and a limited-edition 9″ x 14″ mini-poster. Additionally, the film is presented with optional SDH English Subtitles (for the deaf and hard of hearing). (Why didn’t my copy have that?!)
And finally, Barnes&Noble website has an exclusive interview with Emma, where she speaks on many matters. I’m trying to get a version on Youtube, but it’s providing to be quite annoying and painful. So in the meantime, check it out here.
I was going to upload a brand spanking new picture into the galleries, but they seem to be in a corner on timeout or something, so that’ll have to wait.
Switching It Up
The school year is wrapping up for some of us and we’ve got a present in celebration! There’s a new layout decking the site and we hope you really like this one. The layout was created by Karly and features an image from Emma’s 2008 Stella magazine photoshoot.
The layout features a pretty large header image so if you have a smaller screen resolution or would just like more space on the page for the text, you can navigate over to the style switcher link on the sidebar to your left! It’s under “Site Summary” and there you can switch between the large or smaller header.

All four of us are currently on some kind of hiatus from either the fandom or internet at the time, making updates a bit more difficult. Keep on browsing, keep on enjoying, and have fun!
Ballet Shoes In the US
KOCH Vision has issued a press release letting the world know that they will be releasing Ballet Shoes on DVD in the US this fall! This is super-exciting, no? No more YouTube viewings of Emma’s performance! Thanks to E-W.net for the tip!
