Thanks to R-G.us, we have a brief snippet of an interview with the trio about their experiences of the film. It’s from the magazine Teen, and if anyone could get us a clear scan of Emma’s page, that would be really helpful! The cover looks like this. Transcripts thanks to Natalie and Tao!

Rumor is there’s a lot of Ping-Pong played on set and Emma is the one to beat!
RG: I don’t like playing her because it’s really embarassing. She’s so much better than me and Dan, but we’re getting good. We’re quite quick!

You’ll have your first Harry Potter kiss in the seventh movie. How do you feel about that?
EW: I think it’s going to be quite awkward, but I was speaking to Dan and Bonnie, and apparently, after a couple of takes it gets boring!

Do you ever work with the costume department on choosing Hermione’s clothes?
EW: Yeah. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been more involved. In the beginning, I found it really hard to understand that I was wearing clothes people expected Hermione to wear. I was 10 at the time and I’d get really upset about the clothes because I never would have worn anything like that in my like! I’ve been playing her for so long now that I can have more fun with it.

What’s your secret to being the onset Ping-Pong champ?
EW: My parents played and they’re really competitive. They never user to let me win, do I fot quite good at it. Dan and Rupert were quite taken aback that I could beat them. I think Rupert took it the worst.

Also, in other BS related news (bwahaha, I can’t believe I wrote “BS”) there is an official site with theatre and booking locations for the movie – the movie comes out in limited cinemas on Augusts 26th, so don’t forget to check the locations on the site. The Ballet Shoes DVD is set to be released on September 2nd, and this time with special features, including: an exclusive 20-minute interview with Emma Watson, deleted scenes, an excerpt from the Ballet Shoes audiobook (read by Elizabeth Sastre) and a limited-edition 9″ x 14″ mini-poster. Additionally, the film is presented with optional SDH English Subtitles (for the deaf and hard of hearing). (Why didn’t my copy have that?!)

And finally, Barnes&Noble website has an exclusive interview with Emma, where she speaks on many matters. I’m trying to get a version on Youtube, but it’s providing to be quite annoying and painful. So in the meantime, check it out here.

Congrats to all the cast and crew! I have to say, it was a very well constructed piece and Emma really did prove herself to be more than a Hermione. Thank you to all who emailed in and EW.net for the initial tip. :)

EDIT! I’ve added the first lot of Ballet Shoes screencaps to the galleries. It ends just after Pauline auditions for the role of Alice. They’re all rather large (1401×1050) and I think they’re worth a look. If you do use any of these caps, or upload them into your own galleries, a link back would be appreciated. The next batch should be uploaded soon!

EDIT! Second batch added. They’re a bit out of order, but oh well. This set ends with a disastrous rehersal for Pauline’s next play, A Mid Summer Night’s Dream (her sister Petrova is given a hard time). At the moment, two-thirds into the movie, we have 439 screencaptures! Woo hoo!

EDIT! Last third has been added. Sorry the album is all mussed up and not in order … oh wells. I do hope you guys enjoy these – Emma looks very pretty in many of them (especially at the premiere!); but not only that, her acting has greatly improved – can’t wait for her other non-Potter films. :) That brings this album to a grand total of 586 screencaptures, all of which feature Emma.
