March 5, 2008: Ballet Shoes In the US
KOCH Vision has issued a press release letting the world know that they will be releasing Ballet Shoes on DVD in the US this fall! This is super-exciting, no? No more YouTube viewings of Emma’s performance! Thanks to E-W.net for the tip! edit! Added a few new OotP promo stills; they’re MQ unfortunately, but they were only on scans last time I checked. Enjoy.
January 3, 2008: ‘Ballet Shoes’ HQ
Again, to celebrate almost one year online, I’ve got some more, even more awesome pictures to add. This time, in the Ballet Shoes department. I’ve managed to (finally) get my hands on high quality stills and photoshoot! Let’s party. If you do take these (which I’m pretty sure you’ll want to!), a link back would be appreciated. I would make special thumbnails, but I’m kinda restricted by time (and my sister at the keyboard, not letting me sit down!) at the moment. Enjoy! EDIT! Apparentally Emma is featured on this month’s issue of Girl Power! magazine. It’s an Aussie magazine, so I’ll try and get a copy of it later on today (maybe, possibly). Thanks to rashyr in our comments for the tip.
December 28, 2007: ‘Ballet Shoes’ ratings plus caps!
As far as I can tell, Ballet Shoes did very well on Boxing Day. The Guardian has released a few statistics for the Boxing Day viewings. They said this about Ballet Shoes:
Congrats to all the cast and crew! I have to say, it was a very well constructed piece and Emma really did prove herself to be more than a Hermione. Thank you to all who emailed in and EW.net for the initial tip. EDIT! I’ve added the first lot of Ballet Shoes screencaps to the galleries. It ends just after Pauline auditions for the role of Alice. They’re all rather large (1401×1050) and I think they’re worth a look. If you do use any of these caps, or upload them into your own galleries, a link back would be appreciated. The next batch should be uploaded soon! EDIT! Second batch added. They’re a bit out of order, but oh well. This set ends with a disastrous rehersal for Pauline’s next play, A Mid Summer Night’s Dream (her sister Petrova is given a hard time). At the moment, two-thirds into the movie, we have 439 screencaptures! Woo hoo! EDIT! Last third has been added. Sorry the album is all mussed up and not in order … oh wells. I do hope you guys enjoy these - Emma looks very pretty in many of them (especially at the premiere!); but not only that, her acting has greatly improved - can’t wait for her other non-Potter films.
