‘Ballet Shoes’ ratings plus caps!

As far as I can tell, Ballet Shoes did very well on Boxing Day. The Guardian has released a few statistics for the Boxing Day viewings. They said this about Ballet Shoes:

Over on BBC1, family drama Ballet Shoes picked up an average of 5.2 million and 22% between 8.30pm and 9.55pm.

Congrats to all the cast and crew! I have to say, it was a very well constructed piece and Emma really did prove herself to be more than a Hermione. Thank you to all who emailed in and EW.net for the initial tip. :)

EDIT! I’ve added the first lot of Ballet Shoes screencaps to the galleries. It ends just after Pauline auditions for the role of Alice. They’re all rather large (1401×1050) and I think they’re worth a look. If you do use any of these caps, or upload them into your own galleries, a link back would be appreciated. The next batch should be uploaded soon!

EDIT! Second batch added. They’re a bit out of order, but oh well. This set ends with a disastrous rehersal for Pauline’s next play, A Mid Summer Night’s Dream (her sister Petrova is given a hard time). At the moment, two-thirds into the movie, we have 439 screencaptures! Woo hoo!

EDIT! Last third has been added. Sorry the album is all mussed up and not in order … oh wells. I do hope you guys enjoy these - Emma looks very pretty in many of them (especially at the premiere!); but not only that, her acting has greatly improved - can’t wait for her other non-Potter films. :) That brings this album to a grand total of 586 screencaptures, all of which feature Emma. Toodles!

Miscness continues

I’m in the process of attaining and adding lots of new and unseen HQs to the galleries. These pictures span over Emma’s entire career, and many of my updates from now may just be new-old picture addings. H’okay? Anyway, today I added new HQs to Driving Lessons London Premiere, Chanel Pre-Fall Show and Chanel Nobu Dinner. Plus, I have a new untagged picture of Emma and Rupert at the Prisoner of Azkaban Tokyo Photocall, thanks to Jen.

Also, I’ve added the latest Ballet Shoes clip here - the video is originally from here, but it seems unviewable to people outside the UK. You can also read some Ballet Shoes reviews here, here and here. Also, the official BBC website has updated with a Ballet Shoes subsection, featuring a synopsis, interviews, behind the scenes report and gallery (with one new picture - added to our galleries).

And finally, thanks to many tips, especially from Meagan and Angeline, we know that Emma is number three on Yahoo!’s 10 Top Stars of 2007. Here is what they had to say about Emma:

Emma Watson had her fans on the edge of their seats when it looked like she might not return for the last two Harry Potter films, but thankfully, she decided to stick with the series until graduation.

Reliving The Past Plus More Miscness

Hello all! While we all squee about the upcoming Ballet Shoes, I’ve decided to add some HQ, never before seen stills, from the various Potter films into our galleries. You’ll find new stuff in all movies - but especially in the Chamber of Secrets gallery and the Order of the Phoenix galleries. Enjoy!

Don’t forget to check out the new Pauline clip on the BBC Site (only viewable by UK citizens?). If you can’t view the official site, check it out here on my YouTube page.

EDIT! Veritaserum has uploaded the A & E’s trio biography onto Youtube. The entire hour-length presentation has been uploaded in six parts: part one, part two, part three, part four, part five and finally, part six. Thanks to Veritaserum for the videos!

Also, Jo has updated EWO with some more (new) behind-the-scenes pictures of Emma filming Ballet Shoes! You can view those here. Previews below.

EDIT: Hope you all enjoy our new very holiday-themed layout! The navigation might look quite different as we’ve cleaned up and switched things around a bit - hope you like it as much as we do!

EDIT! I’ve added four new wallpapers to Sparkly!

One features an older photoshoot Emma did for Girls’ Life; one, trailer stills from Ballet Shoes; and two similar ones featuring photos from the Order of the Phoenix London premiere and afterparty. Enjoy! - Allison
