Emma’s BTS video for ‘Harper’s Bazaar UK’, press junket dates/rumours

As you may recall, Emma Watson is the August covergirl for ‘Harper’s Bazaar UK’. A behind-the-scenes video from the shoot has been released and in it, Emma talks about the complexities of the shoot and comments on how hard to was to get into the alter-ego of a bitchy, cold, hardened “naughty” id when compared to the floaty, ethereal and lighter “nice” id. The video also gives us previews about the other outfits Emma wore for the shoot and what type of pictures will be featured in the editorial. A handful of photos from the shoot have already been released and it is rumoured that there will be a total of eight different photos in the editorial.

Video is now on Youtube – no more autoplay! Yay!

And details about upcoming press interviews and junkets are slowly trickling in with Ricky Boleto from CBBC Newsround mentioning that he will be conducting interviews with Emma, Rupert and Tom on Monday, and CNN International correspondent, Becky Anderson, will also interview the cast. This week should have a whole heap of new interviews and press releases with the lead up to the “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ London premiere on Thursday afternoon/night.

WatsonUncensored, via MarkMeets, is reporting that the photocall and press conference for “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ will be on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Dorcester Hotel. We’re also anticipating interviews on ‘Daybreak’ and ‘BBC Breakfast’ but we’ll have to wait and see (Emma was on both programs last year to promote “Deathly Hallows: Part 1″) – ‘Daybreak‘ have already tweeted about the start of their “Harry Potter” week.

‘The Last Days’ on the “Harry Potter” set

A new video has come online showing the last couple of days of production on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″. In it, the principle cast are farewelled and there is a very sweet and sentimental final speech by Dan Radcliffe; there are also new interviews with the cast about their final days.

If you’re prone to sentimentality/melodrama, like I am, you’ll probably need some tissues or something.

‘Entertainment Weekly’ Scans Added

Following on from our bumper ‘Entertainment Weekly’ post from yesterday, new photos and scans from the feature have slowly started trickling in. So far, Emma’s entire editorial has been uploaded and so have a few new behind-the-scenes photos from the set of “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″, as well as some from “Prisoner of Azkaban”! Some great quotes, from both Emma and her co-stars, have also been released and can be seen below. Scans are courtesy of Bunny_Slippers over at Pottershots.net.

Radcliffe credits his co-stars for personal growth, citing in particular his brother-sister relationship with Emma Watson. They certainly argued like siblings- but in a good way, about politics, religion and art. Says Watson: “William Blake, who is one of my favourite poets, wrote, ‘without contraries is no progression’. Dan and I, we really sparked on each other. He questioned me, he made me think. He’s so incredibly driven, ambitious, and passionate. You get something when you’re around someone like that all the time. He gives you that energy. I will miss that. A lot.”

On the first two movies, I was very much a child and had my hand held all the way through it. But Alfonso didn’t baby us so much. He expected a lot more. For the first time, I fe;t, “Oh! I’m and actress. I have a job!”

“In the middle of shooting DH, I went out to dinner with Bonnie Wright, and we started talking about how we really needed to do something to mark the end of this important part if our lives…And then I had the thought of cutting my hair. That felt like an appropriate way of saying goodbye to Hermione.”

The photoshoot images from this editorial are from last year’s Martin Schoeller photoshoot for ‘Entertainment Weekly’, taken during the summer of 2010 (just after Emma got her hair cut).

‘Entertainment Weekly’ covers the end of Harry Potter: “Thank you, Harry!”

Movie and celebrity magazine ‘Entertainment Weekly’ will be releasing a super bumper-issue celebrating the end of the “Harry Potter” phenomena. Boasting exclusive interviews with the cast and crew, as well as secrets from the set, the issue will contain 50 pages of coverage, with a whole heap of content! A teaser press release has been released with a few interview snippets from the cast and a handful of images have been released, including: the nostaliga-inducing cover featuring a very young Harry Potter; an exclusive photoshoot showcasing the Trio’s “playfulness and blossoming adulthood”; plus two new behind-the-scenes photos, one from “Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ featuring Emma and David Yates discussing a scene and the other from “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ featuring Emma relaxing on the set at King’s Cross Station.

The creators of the $2 billion-grossing Harry Potter movies may be laughing all the way to Gringotts Bank, but the success of the films wasn’t always such a sure thing. “If they had cast American actors or put cheerleaders at Hogwarts — and all these hideous ideas were indeed being pitched and discussed at the time – Harry Potter would have been one movie, not a series,” says Chris Columbus, director of the first two films in the most lucrative movie series in Hollywood history. “It would have just died.”

“I have spent more of my life being someone else than I have being myself,” says Watson. The 21-year-old remembers how she used to exasperate the crew at Leavesden Studios by wandering around when she wasn’t shooting. “There was an orchard, a line of apple trees, on one side of the grounds. I would go down and walk around there. Those poor ADs! They must have had nervous breakdowns whenever I would disappear.”

Three new videos have emerged online to promote “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″. Of the three clips, one (the featurette on the Gringotts Break-In scene) features EXTENSIVE spoilers and movie clips, while the others serve as aides to assist viewers into remembering what happened in the first “Deathly Hallows” movie. The new videos include: a new look at the mysterious Horcruxes and their role in the final movie; a featurette entitled ‘Where We Left Off‘ which looks at the events leading up to “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″; and the gloriously spoilerific ‘Gringotts and Goblins‘ featurette. All the videos include new interviews with the cast and crew, as well as new clips from the new movie.
