Officially Emma
Although previously shunning social networking sites, Emma has recently adopted means to communicate with her fans while she travels around the world, studies at Brown University and generally lives life as a regular girl-next-door.
Please note that while Emma does have all these places to communicate with fans she does deserve that her fans respect her privacy and that a healthy boundary between 'Emma-the-actress' and 'Emma-the-girl' should be maintained!

The first promotional still of Emma as Lucy from the 2011 movie “My Week with Marilyn” has been released online via the Daily Mail. Accompanying the photo are a few quips from some of the crew about Emma and her acting potential.
But he flirted with Lucy as much as possible in between takes. Clark described Lucy as ‘one of the prettiest little girls I have ever seen in my life… slim as a wand, curly brown hair, huge brown eyes and a wide cheeky grin.’
Harvey told me: ‘For ten years she has been this schoolgirl in the Harry Potter films and now you see her as a woman for the first time.
‘She has an elegance about her – she looks like Jean Shrimpton! – plus she has a gift for comedy and drama, and we’re just starting to see her range.
‘I feel we’re going to work together a lot in the future.’
Emma’s also been participating in a bit of exam-related procrastination and updated her Twitter and Facebook statuses a handful of times. As of today Emma’s only got two more days of this semester left until her exams are over. If haven’t yet, follow her!
I have had enough of revision – it’s Christmas! Two more days to go… x
Thanks for all the good luck messages! One exam today, then one on Saturday. Not long to go now… Is everyone ready for Christmas? x
Only 18 days to go until Christmas! Just a small matter of a few exams to get through first! So much to do, so little time… x
A brand new article and interview with Emma about her upcoming film, “My Week With Marilyn” has now surfaced online! It doesn’t tell us much new, but it includes some new Emma quotes – and we just love those, huh? :) For those of you who have been living under a rock for the last couple of months, “My Week With Marilyn” is a film set to be released in 2011, in which Emma stars as the wardrobe girl Lucy.
“It’s amazing to play a role that’s in a different time period – the 50s are so much fun and I loved wearing the costumes,”
“I certainly felt more feminine – they were really about curves and a waist, and I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to be more womanly?’” she continued, adding: “I say that, but I was wearing a waspie, a 50s version of a corset, and I certainly wouldn’t last very long in one of those.”
You can read the full interview over at Belfast Telegraph here.

And to finish it all off so you guys have plenty to look at before the premiere kicks into full swing, the first photos from the “Deathly Hallows” London press conference have also appeared online. Emma looks very cute and chic (anyone else in love with her headband?) in a navy blue Marios Schwab dress with lace-up detail. Photos can be seen here in the galleries; there are currently twelve medium qualities in the galleries. Edit!High qualities added thanks to Oclumencia.com.br!
Before we post our New York premiere master page (at the right time, this time!) there are a few straggling bits of Emma news that have been floating around the internet lately; things like new interviews, press videos and random new photos – in conclusion, lots and lots of new Emma goodies! First up on the agenda – gallery additons!
Similarly, lots of brand new videos featuring Emma have also started to crop up all over the internet with many television stations airing their “Harry Potter” specials to tie-in with the movie’s release. France’s TF1 have released their “50 Minutes Inside DH:Part 1″ special (click the video as embedding is disabled), as have Belgium’s (?)Germany’s Holland’s RT4 “Behind the Magic” featurette. Also, Friday saw round-table interviews with the cast and crew of “Deathly Hallows” – videos from this press conference have also been added, as has audio; audio downloads are available via SnitchSeeker. Bliss has sent over the iPad exclusive video for the Vogue photoshoot – it was recorded off her iPad with her camera, so the quality’s not fantastic, but it’s still new footage! Thanks so much Bliss!
We’ve also added all the ‘Access Hollywood’ videos and ‘TV Guide’ video series into our makeshift video archive. Lots of Emma and Dan discussing the now famous Harry/Hermione kiss in part one, plus more of Emma talking about her hair, her performance and her involvement in ethical fashion.
And now to wrap up this post with some article tidbits! Emma has updated her Twitter informing us that she’s done with press in the UK and is ready to jet off to the US to complete her “Deathly Hallows” tour before she retires for the year and settles down back at Brown. Plus Time Magazine need your help and are enlisting fan questions for their interview with Emma. And finally epilogue reshoots are scheduled for December with Dan and Emma confirming this sometime during their press tour in the UK.

With her role as Hermione Granger in the blockbuster Harry Potter movie series, audiences around the world have had the rare opportunity to watch the young British actress Emma Watson grow up on screen with every subsequent Potter movie. Since her acting debut in the series’ first film, 2001′s Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone, Watson has starred in all six installments and has been featured in an advertisement campaign for British fashion house Burberry. Lodge your question?
“I mean, you can imagine, we stopped trains when they said we could do the scene. I mean, we are special – we are ‘Harry Potter,’” Watson says in an intentionally sarcastic and light-hearted tone. “We only had two days to shoot it and we needed so much more time than that. We have reshoots at Christmas.”
So, to make it clear, Watson and Radcliffe’s journey in the world of “Harry Potter” still has a few more days to go. Watson declares, “It’s not over. It’s not over yet.” Read more …

The gang have just finished filming a pulse-pounding foot chase, as they try to outrun a gang of Voldemort’s Snatchers, and this has clearly unleashed some healthy rivalry between the stars. “I do a hell of a lot of running in this film, and I’m achy and stiff,” admits Watson, 20, collapsing into her chair. “I’ve pulled a lot of muscles, but it’s good fun. I definitely gave the boys a run for their money.”
[...] “It’s nice to be out of the studio. It’s such an emotionally heavy film, it’s good to do something more physical,” says Watson, who has taken a break from her studies at Brown University in the US to focus on filming. Read more …
For Daniel Radcliffe, as Harry, Rupert Grint as trusty sidekick Ron Weasley, and Emma Watson as the pretty, precocious Hermione Granger, the films have defined their adolescence. As they stood meekly on Platform 9, ready to board the Hogwarts Express in Philosopher’s Stone, the three were also on their way to becoming the most-recognised child stars in a generation. “Oh, my God, that scene feels like a lifetime ago,” admits Watson, wide-eyed, as she recalls her first moments boarding the Harry Potter juggernaut.
“At the very beginning, when everything was new, I was just full of wonder and amazement because it was such an exciting time in my life. But now I feel weirdly disconnected from that – it feels like another person, because it was so long ago. It’s so hard to even remember back to then.” Read more …
