Two new promotional photos from “Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ has surfaced online this morning, including a new behind-the-scenes shot of Dan (who is acting as Ron under polyjuice) and Emma comforting each other after the 7 Potter scene and a new photoshoot image of Hermione in her Weasley wedding outfit. Oclumencia have managed to get their hands on the very first promotional still for the second (and final!) part of the epic “Harry Potter” movie saga. The image shows Harry, Hermione and Ron looking on anxious and terrified at some unknown entity. The photo can be seen here in the photo galleries.
In the same DH:2-news-vein a few promotional shots featuring Hermione with her copy of ‘The Tales of Beedle the Bard’ have also been released thanks to yourowndestiny @ tumblr. They have a little tag on them (by the tumblr user) and can also be seen in the galleries. I’m sure the Potter-fandom will be on the lookout for more photos so don’t you worry about that!
In other-movie related news that perpetual “Perks of Being a Wallflower” rumour has popped up once more with Summit Entertainment picking up the production rights and naming Emma as the star. The article is up at Huffington Post who broke the news earlier this morning.
To clarify: no Emma has not confirmed that she’s attached; yes writer-director Stephen Chbosky apparently confirmed Emma for the role of Sam; yes Emma’s reps, via @SnitchSeeker, have denied Emma having “projects in the pipeline at present”; and yes this is very confusing.
New York Magazine reports that Summit Entertainment, best known for its ‘Twilight’ mega-franchise, is teaming up with another teen idol to bring the film into production. They’re in negotiations with the film’s backers, New York reports; the book’s author, Stephen Chbosky, is slated to direct the film. Read more?

New photos, huzzah! We’ve uncovered even more photos from the Trio’s press conference in London way back in November. But wait, there’s more! Not only have we found new pictures, we’ve also managed to find bigger versions of the existing photos so instead of dingy medium quality pictures we’ve got dingy shinynewawesome large photos from the conference! This brings us up to a grand total of 44 images from the event – there are also sixteen high quality images sitting in the gallery awaiting your perusal!
This is a really cute set and gives us a whole montage of Emma expressions: from toadally srs bzns to ‘I-rather-like-cake’ to ‘Must you ask me about the kiss … again?!’ to this gem of a facial expression. Lots to see!

Emma news has been a little scarce lately with “Potter” promos over but she has appeared in news tidbits around the world! I, for one, love lists and so we have a little news update featuring lists! It’s sure to be exciting, believe me. Please do not hesitate to email us news, tidbits, random photos and videos – we love all the contributions we receive and really makes our site ‘run by fans, for fans’. Fun fact: we’re turning FOUR soon so we’ll be cooking up some goodies to celebrate.
• Ciarán Hinds, the Irish actor who has been cast as the eclectic and misunderstood Aberforth Dumbledore, has spoken briefly about his time on the “Potter” set. He spoke on his interaction with the main Potter trio and their professionalism and acting maturity on set. These sure are powerful accolades for Dan, Rupert and Emma and really add depth to the intensity of the shoot.
“It was surreal to be in a room with those three kids, all of whom know exactly what they’re doing. And then there’s you, who has been around for a long time, and they’re the ones putting you at ease and making sure you know what you’re doing on set. It was bizarre. But it was also really interesting to see things from that perspective. With every job, you’re typically looking for the director to make sure you’re doing the right thing but with Emma, Rupert and Daniel, that has become part of their psyche.”
“They’ve been doing that job so long, they have such ease and an instant connection with it, and a real truthfulness.”
“Emma was starting university in America and that was made clear for the deadline of the films. They had to shoot round people’s availability. They were all committed to other things. It had to be a nightmare trying to get the schedules drawn up.”
• MTV have also featured a couple of news articles on “Deathly Hallows”, listing Hermione as the winner in their ‘10 Best Movie Witches‘ list and the ‘30 Most Exciting Films for 2011‘. Here’s what MTV said about the second part:
Although the “Harry Potter” novels have been finished for years, fans of J.K. Rowling’s beloved fantasy series have been putting off the mourning period until the final movie arrives in theaters. Well, that time is almost upon us, but the tears can wait — for now, we can’t wait to see what director David Yates has cooked up with his interpretation of the final “Harry Potter” story of all time.
• Awards season is drawing closer and “Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ has drawn in it’s fair share of awards nominations. It’s currently on the BAFTA longlist for eight awards – ‘Make Up & Hair’, ‘Editing’, ‘Special Visual Effects’, ‘Costume Design’, ‘Sound’, ‘Production Design’, ‘Cinematography’ and ‘Original Music’ – as well as being shortlisted for the 2011 Academy Awards for ‘Best Visual Effects’!
• And something for you Ron/Hermione fans – our favourite Sidekickers, Ron and Hermione, have come up trumps in Forbes’ ‘Highest Grossing On-Screen Couple‘, grossing over $US9.3 billion worldwide! They beat out “Lord of the Rings” couple Aragon and Arwen, “Pirates of the Carribean” couple Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner and “Titanic” Jack and Rose.
Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who play Hermione and Ron in the ‘Harry Potter’ films, top Forbes’ list of the highest-grossing on-screen couples of the past 10 years, as the hit fantasy film franchise has pulled in $6.3 billion worldwide.
Stay tuned for more updates and two picspams to make up for our shameful two-month lag!

Hours before the start of the New York premiere of “Deathly Hallows” Emma was spotted arriving at ‘Letterman’ for a taping; Emma was quite quick this time and instead of mingling with fans, as she has done in previousl years, she shot straight inside assumedly to stay on schedule for tonight’s premiere in New York. We’ve added a handful of medium quality photos in the galleries and we’ll be hunting down high qualities as the day progesses. Edit! Emma departing Letterman photos have been added.
Also the first photoshoot from the “Deathly Hallows” press season has arisen, thanks to Emma-Watson.net; these photographs were taken on the 12th November 2010 on day two of the UK press circuit. She is wearing a modified Valentino dress with Robert Clergerie heels. Three Five photos have been added into the galleries. (Second-last and last photos courtesy of Oclumencia.com.br.)
And to finish it all off so you guys have plenty to look at before the premiere kicks into full swing, the first photos from the “Deathly Hallows” London press conference have also appeared online. Emma looks very cute and chic (anyone else in love with her headband?) in a navy blue Marios Schwab dress with lace-up detail. Photos can be seen here in the galleries; there are currently twelve medium qualities in the galleries. Edit! High qualities added thanks to Oclumencia.com.br!
