TimesOnline.co.uk have released “The Top 30 Power Players Under 30” list, with Emma coming in at number four, right behind Keria Knightley! Other honourable mentions include: ‘Goblet of Fire’ co-star Robert Pattinson and international supermodels Lily Cole and Agyness Dean!

As the face of Burberry this season, Watson went from gawky schoolgirl to fashion ingénue. Shunning movies to study literature at Brown University in America — inspired by her mentor, JK Rowling — is a savvy move. Christopher Bailey, the creative director of Burberry, says: “She was the obvious choice for our campaign. She has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge.” source

Also, the nominees list for next year’s People’s Choice Awards have been released with Potter nabbing one nomination: “Favourite On-Screen Team”. They’re up against the cast from Transformers, X-Men: Origins and the Twilight cast. You can vote online at the People’s Choice Awards website. The show is set to broadcast live on January 6th, 2010.

While in New York, Emma also did a couple of televisional interviews; including Letterman, the Early Show and an unannounced appearance on th Today Show! Not only have we got promotional stills from her appearances on the above shows, but we’ve also got a load of photos of her arriving and departing from the interviews, including: 74 photos of Emma arriving at Letterman in an adorably dotty dress; 150 photos of Emma leaving Letterman in a completely different outfit; and some photos of Emma taping the Today Show, which includes an awesome shot of her gorgeous shoes (view them here).

We’ll have videos later (in a coming update, not this one), so for now, lose yourself in lots of pretty Emma pictures (after you’ve viewed the premiere photos, of course)! Again, follow the pretty previews for even prettier pictures. There’s also been various high quality additions to the ‘Half Blood Prince’ premiere in London, plus we’ve added bigger and clearer scans from this month’s Entertainment Weekly feature on the Potter kids (courtesy of Rupert Grint Central)! UPDATE: A new CNN look at HBP with a new clip of the trio is available on YouTube. We’re continuing to add more photos from the premiere as well, so stay around! GMTV recently interview Tom Felton, and now Rupert and Emma and tomorrow, they interview Dan! GMTV has also uploaded a promo picture with Emma and Rupert. Emma recently made an appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross; a couple of medium quality promotional stills have been released by the BBC press office – and just for all you ihw.net visitors, a high quality still of Emma being adorable! The interview is in two parts on Youtube – check them out! – part one and part two!

Plus, some highlights from the interview:

+ Emma and Rupert were chosen before Dan was. Emma completed all up about eight auditions for ‘Harry Potter’.

+ ‘Deathly Hallows’ finishes filming in April 2010.

+ Emma, Dan and Rupert filmed a scene for the Harry Potter theme park.

+ She’s confirmed that she’s going to school in the States! She prefers the “broad curriculum” that they offer in the States.

+ She regrets some of the things she had to forgo, such as missing birthday parties, sleepovers; however, she sees her experience not as a loss, but as learning experience.

+ She’s not impressed with “broomsticks” and “wand” pick-up lines. Her pick-up peeve is being compared to the “girl from Narnia” (Anna Popplewell), or some chick from Lord of the Rings.

+ She confirms she has a boyfriend. *awkward pause*

+ She’s seen the finished film! She and select cast saw a finished version of ‘Half Blood Prince’ while Dan was performing ‘Equus’ in New York.

+ Emma’s seen ‘Equus’! She remarks that the play was: “quite something”.

+ Admits that when the cast were younger, they were scared of Alan Rickman!

+ Emma on the kiss: “the most horrible thing” to do as it felt like incest – she can’t describe is any other way! During the kiss she was quite glad that she got to close her eyes! The kiss took six takes!

ITV1 is set to air a new behind-the-scenes featurette on July 11th at 7pm BST which will include interviews with Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, new footage from the sixth film, and a a tour of the set at Leavesden Studios! After a little bit of searching, I’ve managed to track down a high quality promo featuring interviewer/host Ben Shepherd and Emma as Hermione in the interview chair! Also up, in gallery-related-updates, brand new ‘Half Blood Prince’ promotional stills and behind-the-scenes trio photos! A bunch of Potter stills appeared online last week, including four which feature Emma as the brainy bookworm, Hermione Granger! This lot of stills features Hermione in the stands during Quidditch tryouts; before the big Quidditch match; at the Slug Club next to Neville (discussing spoons?); and with Harry and Ron at the Burrow. And now onto a truck-load of Emma quotes, recently spouted by Emma through the week! First up, an interview with Film Review Online, Emma discusses her memories of shooting Half-Blood Prince and ‘teasing’ her co-stars during their on-screen smooches; a brief transcript from the BBC Press Site shines some insight on Emma’s views of University, auditioning, and ‘that kiss’ with Rupert (she also mentions that she’s ’scared of Potter fans’!); to the L.A. Times Emma talks emailing Jo, being ‘intimidated’ by Jo and her fond memories of Potter; with MovieFone she discusses romance in HP6 (a topic I’m sure we’ll be hearing heaps on in the coming months!); and to ITV she briefly comments upon Lavender and Ron’s relationship! Also, did Dan spill the beans on which University Emma will be attending in autumn? Until we get confirmation, this will be considered a rumour, okies? (Emma has confirmed that she will be attending University in the States – on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross! – but she hasn’t confirmed which University she is planning on attending.)

With Rupert having his first kissing scene, did any of you have fun poking fun at him?
Not really, he’s so laid back, he didn’t seem that embarrassed about it. Maybe he was. He’s just such a lovely guy. I certainly didn’t tease him about it. source

She didn’t think she’d ever be Hermione: “By the time I got to audition, I was in pieces, I didn’t know I had the part.” source

“I must admit I still feel quite intimidated by [JKR],” Watson said. “Not because she is actually intimidating, but because I admire her so much, and we have all been such mad fans of the books and her and everything.” source

“There’s so much kissing going on in this book!” Watson says. And fans aren’t the only ones who get excited by the Hogwarts smooch fests. Radcliffe admits he was disappointed he missed the kiss between Ron and Lavender, “Just ’cause I thought it’d be pretty funny.” source

But Watson seems to be enjoying all the opportunities for photoshoots and red carpet premieres. “Yeah, totally, but she’s much more natural at them than I am. She’s more suited to being able to talk to anyone – I get very nervous about those events. She’s been photographed at a lot of [fashion] things, and I think that’s a world she’s very interested in. I’ve seen some of the clothes she’s designed and [they're] very good. She’s very clever. Do you know her GCSE results?” His eyes boggle: “I was thrilled with mine – seven Bs, two As and an A*. I think Emma got three As and seven A*s – she’s incredibly academic, it’s frightening. Me and Rupert to all intents and purposes dropped out of school. And she’s going to Brown.” He shakes his head in admiration of Watson’s place at the US Ivy League college. source
