You may remember when we reported on the ‘Half Blood Prince’ DVD with a list of features – Emma’s segment with make-up artist Amanda Knight has been uploaded onto Youtube. In it, Emma goes Dark Side and gets a Dark Mark! The segment is only 41 seconds long, which is a little bit of a downer but she looks absolutely adoreable, so watch! A deleted scene has also made it’s way onto Youtube – minimal speaking parts but it is intense. Possible spoilers for those five people worldwide who haven’t seen ‘Half Blood Prince’.

Also, don’t forget to stalk the ‘Half Blood Prince’ Facebook – they’re releasing videos from the DVD (movie and featurettes) daily in the lead up to the release!

TimesOnline.co.uk have released “The Top 30 Power Players Under 30” list, with Emma coming in at number four, right behind Keria Knightley! Other honourable mentions include: ‘Goblet of Fire’ co-star Robert Pattinson and international supermodels Lily Cole and Agyness Dean!

As the face of Burberry this season, Watson went from gawky schoolgirl to fashion ingénue. Shunning movies to study literature at Brown University in America — inspired by her mentor, JK Rowling — is a savvy move. Christopher Bailey, the creative director of Burberry, says: “She was the obvious choice for our campaign. She has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge.” source

Also, the nominees list for next year’s People’s Choice Awards have been released with Potter nabbing one nomination: “Favourite On-Screen Team”. They’re up against the cast from Transformers, X-Men: Origins and the Twilight cast. You can vote online at the People’s Choice Awards website. The show is set to broadcast live on January 6th, 2010.

The Sun has released an interview with Robert Knox’s mother, who is proud and happy that her son is forever immortalised on the big screen. Attached to the article (rather haphazardly?), is a new clip from Sky Movies with Emma and Rupert discussing romance in ‘Half Blood Prince’!

Rupert comments on what it’s like to “kiss a girl” and Emma briefly remarks on Ron and Hermione; video features a cute little Rupert and Emma behind-the-scenes clip with giggles and green screens! Follow the link below to watch the video – the quality’s a little shoddy, but I’m sure we’ll survive.

First up, more behind-the-scenes from the Burberry shoot have been added! Featuring Emma and lots of pretty boys, the photos are medium quality but they’re still very pretty! If you’ve been living outside of Emma-dom, Emma is now the face of Burberry, appearing in the upcoming Autumn/Winter ’09 campaign and lots of behind-the-scenes photos and a video have been released. Plus, high qualities from the campaign!

Also up, lots of ‘Half Blood Prince’ goodies! This update features TV spots, posters, behind-the-scenes and scans! First up, a new television spot entitled “Poof” has been released and captures have been made! Also in television-spot-captures related news, I’ve put all of Hermione’s appearances in these television spots into one snazzy album, for your convenience.

Also in HBP news – posters! The official site has been updated and revamped, with new posters and publicity materials! Featuring a new one with Hermione by herself, there’s also two paied ones with Hermione appearing alongside Ron and Lavender! Ho hum, ho hum. First up, we’ve got a brand new interview from Famous Magazine with Emma! In it, Emma discusses the movies, life and working outside of Potter. You can view it here, in the press archives; also attached, a brand new Hermione still from ‘Half Blood Prince’! Woo!

As for Hermione, her main role is to be a friend to Harry so he doesn’t feel alone in his fight. “I think Hermione has a massive part to play in Harry’s success,” says Watson. “She teaches him that the only way to defeat Voldemort is through having his friends, and trusting his friends.”

“It’s very peculiar looking back on [the films] and seeing how much I’ve changed and how much I’ve grown and what I looked like before all this happened,” Watson says. She evens jokes that, in those first movies, she looked “like a chipmunk” with her baby face. Then she started maturing, along with Radcliffe and Grint. “In a way, that’s what people really identify with. It makes it a real journey, a very real journey, because we literally are growing up with the characters.” source

In other premiere-related news, it has been confirmed by Jo that Emma, Dan and Rupert will be in attendance to at least two premieres – predominantly, the London premiere and the New York premiere. Emma, Dan and Rupert appeared on the MTV Movie Awards via telecast to introduce an exclusive clip for the sixth Potter movie, ‘Half Blood Prince’. The trio appear on the screen for about twenty seconds, before the clip airs – spoiler warning for those who have not read the books. For those who have, all I have to say is: Orphanage.
