First behind-the-scenes shot from ‘Half Blood Prince’

Warner Bros. has released a high quality version of the Trio shot from the Empire Jan 09. Emma features as Hermione, but you only see the back of her head, unfortunately. Check it out here.

Thanks to a tip from Snitch Seeker, I’ve added a brand new interview into our press archives. The interview, featured in Mizz Magazine, covers ‘Despereaux’, ‘Potter’, real life and life after acting. Clear scans haven’t hit the ‘Net yet, but you can see some fuzzy pictures here.

Family films can still push boundaries, present challenging ideas and, most importantly, keep everyone entertained. It was just something really interesting, something different. I hope that directors will give me the chance to do something quite far away from Hermione. source

Remember the dress Emma wore to the world premiere of ‘Despereaux’? Well, the creator William Tempest has recently spoken about the dress and fangirls over Emma! You can read the entire article here.

What have you been up to recently?
Well, Emma Watson wore a dress as her premiere in LA, so I’ve been doing that and doing fittings with her and I’ve made her a few dresses for different things and hopefully she will wear some of them to other events.

The design of the dress is really nice, how did you come up with it?
Emma’s dress, well you know she’s only 18, but she’s quite classic isn’t she? but still she wants to be young and edgy as well, so it’s quite good the things I’ve chosen for her.

How did Emma Watson come to wear one of your designs?
Well, she was at the Fashion Fringe show and I just thought Oh My God, can’t believe Emma Watson is here, and you know I just wanted to dress her and then she really liked me too. I actually got in touch with her, and spoke to her and her assistant and they were so glad because they wanted to get in touch with me anyway. So then she had loads of garments that she took to Paris with her, but the only one she’s really been photographed in is that one. It’s been in everything too, so I’m happy. source

Happy 2009!

Life is a bit busy right now around the new year, but we all from IHeartWatson.net wish you a very happy 2009! We have a few goodies to share today as well, including some Style Files updates, our very first magazine scan of 2009, and a high-res HBP still!

We have a scan from the Dec. 08/Jan. 09 issue of Empire magazine. Empire has a bit of a behind-the-scenes article on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and one picture, albeit rather small and blurry and tiny and dark, does feature Hermione! You can check that out in the galleries here. We also have an awesome new high-res still from HBP, featuring Professors Snape and McGonagall, with the trio looking on from the background. As usual, you can check that out in the galleries right here. And if you haven’t seen the new ihwmedia.net layout yet, you should definitely go marvel, ‘cos it’s gorgeous and it finally works!

If you haven’t visited our graphic archive Sparkly! recently, now might be the time to pop over and take a look. There’s been a pretty new layout up for a little while and it’s been updated with wallpapers taken from former 2007 desktop calendars. There’s some really adorable ones there, so be sure to check ‘em out!

We’ve also begun compiling a lookbook of Hermione’s outfits in the Potter films! So far, the page features Emma’s sixteen outfits from Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban. Outfits from Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix will be up in the lookbook shortly, as well as full guides for Hermione’s outfits. You can check out the “As Hermione Granger” page in the Style Files, right here.
