Well filming at Shell Cottage has stopped, and as a result, our ‘Deathly Hallows‘ category has surpassed our ‘Half Blood Prince‘ category. Interesting, yes? Anyway, I’ve added a few more pictures from the second day of shooting, with day three being dedicated to filming indoors due to rain. In other Wales-shooting-related news, Emma has posted a brand new E.M.S about filming and what’s next on her plate.

Also, in HBP-media news, there have been over the weekend, the release of two new TV spots. Emma features very briefly in one (no new scenes, unfortunately) and not at all in the second one. However, to make up for it, it’s got lots of brand new scenes with feature Harry and Draco Malfoy! To view the first one do so here, and the other, view it here.

And because we’ve just noticed we’ve been lacking in the pic spam department, I’ve updated with a May pic spam, featuring the 22 best pictures from the Wales shooting! Hopefully once we sort ourselves out again this will become a regular feature here at i♥w. Click, you know you want to.

Update from yesterday: now with screencaps

As we reported yesterday, there has been a release of a brand new promotional video for ‘Half Blood Prince’. With the summary building up hopes, the emergence of this clip online has caused quite a stir. Focusing on the love triangle between Hermione, Ron and newcomer, Lavender, the clip is actually rather funny, so watch, watch, watch! Also, screencaps have been added.

In ‘Deathly Hallows’ filming news, Leaky are reporting that next up is filming the ‘Shell Cottage’ scenes. The main cast and other supporting characters, including Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch) and Bill Weasley (Domhnall Gleeson), are reported to have arrived and will begin (have begun?) filming in the early hours of Monday morning. Filming is set to go from Monday 11th May through to Friday 15th May, so be prepared (hopefully) for more on-set madness and goodies to appear online! Be warned, however, the Leaky link is moderately spoilerish, mentioning character death from book seven, so for those who haven’t read: preceed with caution.

As such, many of the cast and crew have arrived in the area. Many readers have emailed to say that members such as Dan Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Emma Watson (Hermione), Evanna Lynch (Luna), Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley) and even Warwick Davis (doing duty apparently as Griphook) are now in the area along with other crew, and visited the beach earlier today. source

Look out: new HBP promotional clip on the loose!

Snitch Seeker and a variety of other Potter sources are reporting that a new TV spot for ‘Half Blood Prince’ was spotted on The CW during The Game. The preview only went for about thirty seconds, but goes into the triangle revolving around Lavender-Ron-Hermione. As we speak, house elves are scanning the internet for this highly coveted scene!

edit! Golly, those elves do their work well! Video available here on Youtube thanks to Oclumencia!

Dumbledore and Harry are talking and Harry mentions a girl and says “she’s just a friend….” and then they show Harry and Ginny leaning in for a kiss. Next we have Hermione smacking Harry in the library. Then it switches to a scene in a hospital (Ron’s poisoning) and Lavender leans over the hospital bed and says “I happen to be his girlfriend”. Then it shows a shot of Hermione looking up at the Quidditch stands, smiling really big at Ron (new shot of Ron during Quidditch shown). Next shot that I remember is back at the hospital wing and Hermione responds to Lavender with “I happen to be his friend”. You see Harry, Dumbledore, Ginny, Hermione, Lavender, Ron and Snape in this scene. Maybe McGonagall too. Then Dumbledore says “Ah, to be young again…” and then you see Harry smiling really big in the common room. source

Also, the trio have been featured in a brand new list (I know y’all love lists). Empire Magazine have released their ‘20 Stars Who Weren’t Even Born When Empire Started‘ list, with Emma scraping in at nineteen. The list was comprised of a slew of other young talent, including Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Saoirse Ronan (Atonement) and Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds). Dan and Rupert also made the cut, ending up at one and ten.

You know her from: HP Alumnus, Ballet Shoes.

Why’s she good? Having grown up on the big screen as struggling muggle-born Hermione Granger, Watson has shouldered immense pressure to come out smelling of roses. Now she has started to make a niche for herself outside of the franchise with a leaning towards costume dramas and a rumoured leading role in Napoleon and Betsey.

Will she have an adult career? Will she want one? Judging by her sickeningly good exam results and place at Cambridge, she may crave something a bit more challenging. source

Anyone else not getting why they insist on teaming up Hermione with Slughorn? Or is it just me? Anyway, Cinematical have released brand new character banner poster things featuring the predominant members of the ‘Half Blood Prince’ script. Lots of Potter prettiness ensues!

Bring on July?

New-old photoshoot picture, plus Emma talks ‘Half Blood Prince’

Aren’t you lot lucky? Thanks to Amelie, I’ve added another (missing) picture of the trio from the 2007 edition of Vanity Fair, for Vanity Fair Germany magazine for the OotP promotional. You can view the new photo, plus remember the past by clicking here.

Also, Wizard Universe has released the Emma segment of their Trio on-set interview. It’s rather brief and short, but gives us a little more indepth into Hermione’s character in the upcoming movie, plus Emma’s most memorable scene and her comments on a variety of topics, including the choice of directors, acting after Potter and the fan’s possible upcoming reactions. You can read the entire interview here, in our press archives.

What is Hermione’s big moment and big sequence in the sixth film?
WATSON: There’s this mean girl called Lavender who has a bit of a crush on Ron. It’s leaked in the beginning of the film that Hermione and Ron are finally going to get it together, and then she steps in. Hermione is sensitive and quite mean, really. And it’s very much about how she sort of despises Lavender. Not really because she’s taken Ron away, but because she’s kind of the opposite of Hermione. So it’s very comic and also quite sad for her. It’s very Ron based, her part. source

Short HBP set visit update

Moviefone posted a quick little teaser for their upcoming set visit report, teasing us all with 5 Fun Facts from the Set. Moviefone previously released an even shorter teaser of their set report back in December last year. One which specifically features Emma:

One of the first things you notice wandering around the outskirts-of-London set of ‘Potter’? There are twice the number of main characters. Each lead has a stand-in, and they look so strikingly similar (and are also sporting identical costumes), it’s easy to confuse them at any distance. “It’s weird,” Grint admits. “And they all sit together at lunchtime!” Emma Watson even admits she wishes she could send her body double to education classes in her place. The only problem? “She’s like 24, something like that,” Watson says. source

Click the source to view all five, including Dan’s reaction to Dumbledore’s outing, Rupert and his ice-cream truck, unexpected bacon talk and discussion on the “perfect kiss”. Alternatively, you could just click here if you’re too lazy to search.

And again, found even bigger-ish, clearer photoshoot images from Emma’s upcoming cover for Interview magazine. You can see the newer versions here in the galleries, or click on the previews below.

Another scan from ‘Interview’ plus HBP release dates

In the lead up to Half Blood Prince madness, new photos and photoshoots featuring the trio are appearing, which is exciting, no? Anyway, as previously reported, Emma is on the cover of ‘Interview’ magazine for May 2009. Thanks to The Celebrity City, I’ve added another clear scan which will now join our purty high quality cover. You can check out both these image here.

Thanks to Emma Watson Italia, I’ve added five scans from this month’s edition of Top Girl! Using the same shoot as Sunday Times, it luckily provides us with a bigger and clearer set of images, which is always good! You can check those out here.

Also, thanks to various tips, we now know that the premiere for the sixth installment of ‘Harry Potter’ will be held in Japan on Monday, July 6, 2009, with subsequent premieres in London and New York on the 7th and 8th of July. There has been no official word as of yet as to who will be in attendance at the Japanese premiere. And finally, thanks to an email tip from Enni, there is speculation that the HBP Blu-Ray DVD disc will be out as early as November 19th 2009 with the German Blu-Ray Disc site and Amazon already placing notices on their sites. From Enni (cause my German’s a tad bit rusty):

A German BluRay site is reporting that possibly the BluRay disc of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released in late fall to be part of the Christmas holiday shopping season, with a possible November 19th release date.

Little tidbit from a Leaky Set Report:

Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) agreed with one reporter’s characterization of the movie as the “romantic comedy Harry Potter,” citing specifically some physical humor played by Cormac McLaggen during Slughorn’s party. “They’re both in denial about their feelings,” she says of the often-jealous dynamic between her character and Ron. Meanwhile, Dan Radcliffe speaks of “oddly charged” moments between Harry and Ginny, and Jessie Cave, who plays Lavender Brown, said her kissing scenes made her concerned about “chipping a tooth.” source
