As we reported previously, Emma is currently on the cover (the June issue) of ‘Vanity Fair Italia‘. Scans from the feature have been added into our galleries and include: a new interview with Emma where she discusses her role in the final “Potter” movie; her Lancôme editorials and advertisements; her friendships on set; and life as a student at Brown University. The feature also includes two new shots of Emma from the Lancôme advertisement; those can be seen on this page. Unfortunately, our press archives have been irreversibly damaged so we’ve had to start afresh; the entire article, translated thanks to Hermiola89 at Pottershots, can be seen in our NEW (and completely unorganised and unfinished) press archives.

Where did you grow up?
In the Marais, but at that time it wasn’t the cool district it has become today. The other night my dad brought me out to dinner there and it felt like a completely different place.

Is it because of your French origins that Glamour UK named you the most elegant woman in the world?
(Laughs) Maybe. I really like fashion, but also a certain understatement that’s typical of those French girls I see on the streets. My style is a mix of these two things: trying to be tasteful without trying to seek attention at any costs. I love simple things. Few accessories, not much make-up.

Do you have any posters in your bedroom?
I have a big poster with all the movies by Jean-Luc Godard, and a few things I painted myself. I also pinned up a few letters kids have written me in the years that have helped me in the most difficult moments. I read them and I feel better.

In your website I’ve seen the open letter where you cleared up that you weren’t bullied at university in America. Why did you feel like pointing that out?
People are free to gossip about me, trying to guess which university I’ll attend, what’s going to be my next film or the color of my dress at a première. But you can’t speculate about the honesty of my fellow students at Brown University, who have always behaved. It was a fantastic experience for me. Read more?

And as for photoshoot updates: a new set of outtakes, from the set of “Order of the Phoenix”, has surfaced – three years after they were taken – and can now be seen in our galleries. They’re unfortunately and hideously tagged but they are very, very cute pictures! These outtakes are courtesy of Oclumencia. Also, somewhat related to our previous post on the subject, new high qualities from Emma’s Tesh photoshoot for ‘Marie Claire’ have been added into the galleries.

Also up, scans! This time, from Italy’s Spain’s Io Donna magazine and the South African Seventeen magazine! Both of which feature brand new photoshoot images, and interviews! Woo! As you may have noticed, Emma was not in attendance to the Raisa event. Oh well, in 20-odd days, she’ll be everywhere.

Also making Emma news, Portkey has scanned and uploaded quite a few new promotional shots, featuring the main cast for ‘Half Blood Prince’. I was able to snag fifteen scans which feature Emma as Hermione. Warning, spoilers and absolute trio cuteness ahead! Also uploaded, some brand new shots of the trio filming in London on April 21st, and two new shots from the Order of the Phoenix DVD Launch, thanks to Oclumencia. And yes, we’re still keeping our eyes peeled for Emma’s appearance at the Raisa banquet (fi indeed, she was in attendance).

We’ve been bitten by the picspam bug and are thinking of giving a picspam-of-the-month idea a whirl. Let us know what you think! Firstly, I’ve uploaded quite a few new videos, including a bunch of new ‘Tale of Despereaux’ junket interviews. The official ToD website has been updated with a special Christmas greeting for Despereaux fans, featuring Emma – you can view this adorable (and short) clip here! Secondly, I’ve managed to unearth pictures from ‘The Tale of Despereaux’ Los Angeles press conference and photocall. They’re only medium quality, but some of these shots are absolutely gorgeous! I guess we can only wait for more of these to be released. In the meantime, enjoy the prettiness here in our galleries! Not having seen the film [laughs] … it would be a little unfair to comment, but of course I will say Hermione, because she is just the best. source

I guess I have paranoid moments where I will hear something in my own voice or I’ll go “Gosh, do I sound like Hermione then?” You know, I definitely have an awareness of it because I’ve played her for so long and she is so distinctive and she is so much a part of me. So yes, I definitely have an awareness of it, but Pea was more gentle. I instantly felt a different person or character playing her. I definitely had a sense that… It worked out okay. I was worried about it but it worked out okay, I think. [laughs] source

During the recent press day interviews for the upcoming animated film THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX, actress EMMA WATSON was on hand to talk about her role as Princess Pea but the conversation kept getting hijacked and directed to all things HARRY POTTER.

WATSON was game and talked about her role as Hermoine in the hugely popular franchise and even spilled a few beans about what are the worst and best things about doing a POTTER movie. source
