August 11, 2007: Emma Playing Pauline In ‘Ballet Shoes’!

Jo, the webmistress of Emma’s official site, has announced the rumors of Emma playing Pauline Fossil in Ballet Shoes are true - hurrah! Filming begins this month and the movie will air on the BBC around Christmas time.

We are happy to announce that Emma has been cast in a starring role in a new movie, being made by Granada for the BBC1, called Ballet Shoes. Emma will play the part of “Pauline,” the eldest of 3 orphaned sisters who lead a sheltered life until they begin at the Children’s Academy of Dancing and Stage Training. Only then do they begin to discover their special talents and extraordinary ambitions.

The feature length adaptation of the hugely popular book by Noel Streatfield begins filming this month and is set to appear on the BBC around Christmas time! It also stars Richard Griffiths, Robert Hardy and Victoria Wood. We’ll keep you posted when we have more.

July 12, 2007: Emma on David Letterman

There’s a video of Emma talking about Hermione and including clips of her at the first Potter premiere here. It’s on a German site but Emma’s speaking English, so check that out!

There’s a very interesting article on Emma here on DailyMail.co.uk. It states that Emma is signed to modeling agency Storm and that she’s also going to be working with Chanel, though keep in mind that I’m unsure about the reputability of the article and these could either be very true or just rumors.

July 10, 2007: ‘Hand, Foot, and Wand’ Print Ceremony + Scans

We’ve got scans from two new magazines, the German Stern and British You, up in the gallery thanks to E-W.net!

Thanks to E-W.net as well, we’ve got a couple high quality pictures from the ‘Hand, Foot, and Wand’ ceremony today and HPANA has video footage of the event. Enjoy!

There are also more images from Emma’s Bravo photoshoot, which we’ll have up as soon as possible (I haven’t got thumbnailing capabilities at the moment!), you can check out here, and we’ll be updating with more pictures from Sunday’s L.A. premiere as we get our hands on them. Enjoy!

Kaetlyn: I am currently in the middle of uploading 92 HQ images to the Wand, Foot, Hand Ceremony. I will be handling images on a priority basis i.e. newer pictures will be put up before older pictures. If you would like to donate anything, email them in. And yes, this news system is programed in AEST time, so it would show the Australian time (I’m at least 10 hours ahead of everyone). I probably won’t be able to make thumbnails or fix up the page for these pictures, but you can view them straight from the folder until someone from staff fixes it up.
