We are happy to announce that Emma has been cast in a starring role in a new movie, being made by Granada for the BBC1, called Ballet Shoes. Emma will play the part of “Pauline,” the eldest of 3 orphaned sisters who lead a sheltered life until they begin at the Children’s Academy of Dancing and Stage Training. Only then do they begin to discover their special talents and extraordinary ambitions.

The feature length adaptation of the hugely popular book by Noel Streatfield begins filming this month and is set to appear on the BBC around Christmas time! It also stars Richard Griffiths, Robert Hardy and Victoria Wood. We’ll keep you posted when we have more.

There’s a very interesting article on Emma here on DailyMail.co.uk. It states that Emma is signed to modeling agency Storm and that she’s also going to be working with Chanel, though keep in mind that I’m unsure about the reputability of the article and these could either be very true or just rumors.

The UK premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will take place in London, England on Tuesday, July 3. It will be held at Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square at approximately 6 PM.

The Paris premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will take place in Paris, France on Wednesday, July 4. It will be held at Fnac Saint-Lazare at 6:30 PM.

The US premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will take place in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, July 8. It will be held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre with crew arrivals at 2 PM, cast arrivals at 3:30 PM, and movie screening at 5 PM.

Thanks to HPANA, we know that the London premiere will be streamed live as it was for the Goblet of Fire. The premiere streaming will begin at 5 PM BST on Tuesday. You can find what time that’ll be for you right here.

If you do get a chance to show up at either premiere and get pictures, autographs, or video (lucky dog!), we’d love for you to send it to us! You will receive full credit for anything you send us and if you prefer, your pictures/autographs/whatever else you have will be watermarked to prevent “stealing” from our site. Good luck!

A translation of an interview with Dan in the Por Ti magazine quotes him as saying:

Emma is great. She’s easy to get along with. She can’t stand being mad, so if we ever argue we’re fine the next day.

Also, Emma is to appear on both the Today Show and Live With Regis and Kelly on July 12th. The Richard and Judy show in the UK will be airing a special on the OOTP movie on Friday, July 6 at 5 PM and the TV Guide Channel will be showing a special on the LA premiere of HP&OOTP at 9 PM on Sunday, July 9. Also, it appears that Emma did not attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in Tokyo, Japan today. We are, however, expecting her to be at the UK premiere on Tuesday, July 3.

EDIT: Thanks to HPANA and EW.net, we have some dates on upcoming TV interviews of Emma. It appears Emma is setting a tradition – everytime she visits New York, she participates in a Regis and Kelly interview! That’s right – you can view Emma on R&K on July 12th. Also, you can view the trio on the Richard and Judy Show (5pm – UK) on June 29th. And finally, for our French visitors, get your VCR’s ready! The trio are set to appear on cast and crew interviews on 1st July on Canal 2 (12am – France) and then (on the same channel and time) on July 8th. Phew.

EDIT: The Telegraph has another pretty snazzy new interview with the trio, in which Emma discusses her acting ability, the supposed Potter hacker, and so on.

FACT OR FRICTION: “I think it’s fair to say that Emma and me have had our moments. But when you’re with someone for six years and you see them practically every day, there’s bound to be moments when you just irritate each other. But generally we get on really, really well and we’re still really happy to be working together.” (Daniel)

SCHOOL DAZE: “There’ll be some days where I’ll wake up in the morning, and I’ll feel really good and want to make an effort. I’ll wear a skirt and a nice little jacket and look real nice. And I am absolutely not kidding about the quality of these scans – the smallest is 1.7mb and did I mention she scanned the entire section for us?
