Hey y’all. Sorry about the whole ‘not updating’ thing. We’re currently going through a layout block (yes all four of us – crazy, huh?). But I do have news to update with, so I will update (logical, no?).

First off, we have details about the Los Angeles, California premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which is to be held on July 8th. Further details can be viewed below:

When: Sunday, July 8 with Crew Arrivals at 2pm, followed by Celeb arrivals at 3:30pm, Movie Screening at 5:00pm

Where: Grauman’s Chinese Theatre

Who: Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, with more celebrity guests to be announced soon

Got that in? Yep? Good. Now all of you go off and write it in your diaries or something! Don’t forget! Thanks to the fantabulous Joy we have some lovely HQ scans from Cinema Magazine, Cine Premiere Magazine and J-14 (Spanish and English). And also thanks to Amanda we have some better resolution scans from the Order poster book! Fun fun, no?

Also, just a bit of an update. IGN Movies and DR.co.uk were lucky enough to be able to go on set and have interviews with the entire cast. IGN is promising to put up full interviews later on, but here’s what Emma has to say:

We had the pleasure of interviewing Producers David Barron and David Heyman, and Production Designer, Stuart Craig. Cast members we interviewed were James and Oliver Phelps, Matthew Lewis, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and, of course, Daniel Radcliffe. <source>

Hermoine, played by Emma Watson, also amps up her character and she keeps coming out of her shell. Watson told us “It’s quite a powerful [role] for Hermoine, this one. She’s the one who makes everything happen. It’s very similar to the role she had in the third one where she’s just like ‘Right, we’re going to do this and you guys are coming with me.’ (laughs) She’s dragging them off everywhere so it’s really cool. It’s a powerful female role.” <source>

OOTP news is going crazy! We’ve got two new trailers with just a tiny bit of new footage here and here and a nice bit of new footage that aired on Entertainment Tonight here. Both look absolutely fantastic and we’ll have screencaps up for you as soon as possible!

Some of you might’ve been really excited about the new poster we thought we saw the other day. Unfortunately, according to WB via The Leaky Cauldron, this was just a fanmade poster and is not official. Better luck next time!

I love a scandal, don’t you? Anyway, various sources are reporting that the previous IMAX poster is not an official poster at all. Potter fandomites have been talking and discussing about a serious hot topic: did someone airbrush curves onto Emma?

The IMAX poster shows a difference in bust and waist on the Hermione character. A quote to make this look rather official and all that jazz:

“This is not an official poster. Unfortunately this image was accidentally posted on the Imax website. The mistake was promptly rectified and the image taken down.”

There is remarkable evidence for this (if you really want to see it, click here). If you want to do some more reading, don’t forget to check out this article. Hopefully WB will get back to us on the last poster released, in which Ginny doesn’t even look like Ginny.

And also, thanks to ootpmoviepics and ebonyserpent we have some new scans of Emma as Hermione! They include: the trio looking worried in the Hogs Head, Hermione looking worried and Hermione looking worried … again?

He’s quiet, thoughtful, sensitive. Mike [Newell, director of Goblet of Fire] would sit in his chair and yell at us, or stand up and just be very loud and British. Whereas David will think for a bit, he’ll come over, speak a few words, keep it to a minimum. The thing that always comes up with David is finding truth in the characters, truth in the performance, make it real.
