We’ve been rather lucky today. As you may remember, yesterday we posted about the People Tree preview; today we’ve gotten a nice, clear look at the collection in The Daily Mail‘s “You” supplement. Along with some clearer photos, there’s also an interview with Emma on ethical fashion! Scans have been uploaded into our galleries, here courtesy of Snitch Seeker and Emma-Watson.net!

We also have high quality photoshoot images! Unfortunately, the gallery is being a bit of a pain at the moment and refusing to add them to gallery, however you can view them at the following direct links: one, two, three and four!

You are something of a fashionista, but were you completely new to fair-trade fashion?
The first time I heard about fair trade was during a geography coursework project, and I remember thinking, ‘Why isn’t everything fair trade?’ Everyone knows about fair-trade bananas and coffee, but of course anything can be fair trade. Fair-trade fashion costs a bit more but allows those who make it to earn a decent living; to be able to take care of their families and live with dignity. read more?

Keep on the lookout for more updates during the day!

EDIT: And more, as promised! The Telegraph published another article on Emma and the People Tree line along with a couple of new medium-quality photos of Emma modeling. The article has a few new bits on Emma’s current plans, thoughts on fashion, and her role models. Photos have been added to the gallery, with hopefully more coming up soon! – Allison

First up the photos from our previous update have been replaced with larger images, thanks to the latest update on Emma Watson Official! And carrying on from this week’s posts, another seven pictures from the set of this season’s Burberry campaign have been added to the galleries! Follow the previews to view the prettiness!

Yahoo! have released a short article with Emma and Dan from the set of ‘Deathly Hallows’! Both actors talk about their characters and the emotional and physical journeys the Trio have to go through during the scenes. Extracts from Emma’s input can be seen below, while the entire article can be read here at the original source.

Emma Watson noted, “It was so nice to be outside, in the forest and out of the studio – running about. It was so much fun. Because it’s such an emotional, heavy film, it was nice to get out and do some action stuff.

“They were very fun scenes to film. Being out of Hogwarts just makes it really different. It just gives the audience a whole different experience. I’m so excited to see it together.”

[...] Watson adds, “It’s challenging in every way – physically, emotionally. They’re away from home. They’re isolated, they don’t have any news. They don’t know what they’re doing. They’re pulling at shreds. Dumbledore had hardly left them anything to go on.” source

In other interview-esque-related-news, Jessie Cave, who played newcomer Lavendar Brown in ‘Half Blood Prince’, has spoken out in a new interview with Scholastic. While she speaks on many topics, one of her questions mentioned Emma!

Q: Who do you think you bonded with most?
Jessie: On set? Definitely Emma [Watson who plays Hermione]. I really got on with Emma really well. I thought she was brilliant. source

Emma’s upcoming fashion line with People Tree has started to cause a buzz online – The Times have released a mini-press release with a descriptive preview of the range, plus two new promotional images featuring Emma modelling clothes from her new line! Check out the article here (excerpts below), while images from the upcoming line can be viewed here!

The thought of a young successful actress designing an ethical fashion range might seem, at first glance, as nauseating as Katy Perry’s public adoration of Russell Brand. Both just seem too dutiful to be taken seriously. Yet, even though I quietly hoped Emma Watson would become tangled at the first hemp-woven hurdle when the collection was announced in September, she has actually created a very clever range for the retailer-with-a-conscience, People Tree.

What Watson, as Creative Advisor, has done differently, is that she has plaited together several fashionable threads to appeal directly to her peers. She might well be the face of Burberry, and have enjoyed at least one wardrobe deal with Chanel for her red carpet Harry Potter looks, but what Watson provides is an understanding that a bit of Hollister jersey blended into American Apparel basics, and topped off with humorous slogans, will mean that these clothes can transcend their worthy beginnings — and just become cool. source

The line is set to launch in February of this year.

In other fashion-world news, a further six images from the Burberry on-the-set photos have been released, with new photos with Emma and members of the Burberry production team, not to mention new photos with younger brother Alex Watson and co-Burberry models! Larger versions from our previous update have been added also.
