While we wait to see if Emma is indeed appearing on the Today Show, a few more rumours/news tidbits have appeared online, from music video appearances to award show guest lists to a brand new movie! Please keep in mind that these are unconfirmed rumours but they are worth reporting as it’s great to see Emma trying out different things and flexing her acting muscles!

The Sun are reporting that Emma will be one of the many guests to appear at this year’s National Movie Awards on May 26. They are currently running a competition, the grand prize being exclusive tickets to the generally star-studded event!

On 26 May, the hottest movie stars from Tom Cruise to Emma Watson will walk the red carpet at London’s Royal Festival Hall in the hope of joining host James Nesbitt LIVE on stage and receiving a coveted NMA. source

The Coffee Break are repoting that Emma will make an appearance in an upcoming music video alongside Burberry model George Craig. The song entitled “Say You Don’t Want It” was supposedly filming scenes last night in New York and Emma and the band were spotted in various filming locations.

Ran into Emma Watson (hermoine from the harry potter films) in times square before heading into the train station at 42nd street after work….seems her and some scrawnny dude were filming something that involved a NYC hot dog vendor…she’s pretty kewl, by that I mean she laughed and looked in my direction.

At the end of the night I watched Emma Watson filming a movie outside my hotel. I wonder if that’s a typical day in NY? source

And finally, Variety are reporting that Emma is being considered to star alongside “Percy Jackson” actor Logan Lerman in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”; the film has been described as an “indie coming-of-age” film and will also feature John Malkovich.

“Perks,” published in 1999, is narrated by a shy and unpopular teenager who describes his life by writing a series of letters to an anonymous person and explores the awkward times of adolescence, including drug use and sexuality. source
