Hi all I’m Reebeka, but you can call me “Bek” or “Bexxie”.  The IHW.net girls are on a little holida and have left me in charge for a while, which is a real honour.  But the thing is, while I lurve Emz, I also lurve Emily Watson cuz Emily Watson is a better actress than Emma Watson, no offence.  So for the next six weeks, welcome to the brand new iheartswatson.net!

Do you like the new lay? I think its a bit red, lol.

Random Gallery Update #345346, plus new event!

Things have been sorted (hopefully) and now we’re ready to … I dunno, update? First and foremost, I’ve added a dozen or so new pictures from Emma’s latest appearance at the ‘The Damned United’ London premiere. They’re in lowly medium quality, but bigger versions are bound to pop up eventually. In other Emma-appearance-gallery-updating news, Emma was spotted over the weekend at the Chelsea v Manchester game, cheering for Chelsea I do believe, plus some brand new high qualities from this year’s BAFTAs. Also added, brand new high qualities from the ‘Despereaux’ Los Angeles press conference, Sean Cook in high quality and some unseen (?) photos from the BAFTA photoshoot, photos I’m sure aren’t available in high quality, so check those out. To view all of our recent gallery updates, just click here.

In other football related news, Emma has posted a brand new quippy E.M.S, in which she discusses HP6 promotion, being back on set and football of course! Ron and Hermione were named one of the top five couples on BBC Radio 1, coming in at number four. You can listen for to the whole program here (their mention is about 1hr 40min into the show).

This rushed news post was made possible by Snitch Seeker, The Celebrity City, OMW, Watson Daily and Google!

Yes, yes, yes, this is a post of relevance (and on time too)!

Thanks to rampant searching over the past month, we’ve managed to track down the Vs. Magazine in high quality, including all the outtakes! Also, an added bonus, a new (and absolutely adorable!) high quality picture of Emma from last year’s Sonia Rykiel Paris Fashion Week event. You can view the photoshoot here at our (currently up) galleries.

Also, Jo has updated EWO to counteract some of the recent rumours which have been floating around. She states that Emma has not accepted any sort of teritary studies position, either in the UK or the USA, and that she does not have a Twitter. However, she does confirm that Emma is looking at American Universities.

Thanks to Oclumencia, it’s been revealed that the role of Hermione Granger’s mother has been casted for the final installments of the Potter movies. The article isn’t too information heavy, but it’s quite a good read. Am I the only one who missed the Grangers’ roles in Deathly Hallows?

Apologies for the inaccessibility to the gallery for the past few days. We were unable to do anything about it.

edit! Another photoshoot, aren’t you guys lucky? Thanks to OMW we now have the BAFTA 2009 photoshoot! Woo! Check that out here!

Bits and bobs at the gallery, plus unseen outtakes!

Firstly, there’s been a mini-gallery update! Woo! Haven’t had one of those for a while, eh? Anyway, brand new high qualities have been added, including the ‘Half Blood Prince’ posters (alas, no Hermione); some new behind-the-scenes of ‘Half Blood Prince’ taken from the high definition video released by WB (a little more information a little bit later); some Hermione-centric stills, again taken from the video; and a bucket load of brand new images from the BAFTAs. You can view the latest uploads here in our galleries.

Also, thanks to thephotobox and Juliet we’ve got the entire Daily Mail photoshoot uploaded into our galleries. Consisting of 22 images the photoshoot features Emma in her most ‘Hollywoodesque’, channeling old-Hollywood glam. Super bonus, they don’t have that annoying over-contrasted look! Woo! Check ‘em out here.

As mentioned (a million and three times before) Emma’s ‘Despereaux’ L.A. dress was designed by up-and-coming fashion designer William Tempest. In a new-old video with Grazia, William discusses “that dress” and the different sets of pieces he sent to Emma prior to the premiere. Some parts I’m not too sure about, hence the “(?)” beside them, so if you find any bloopers, feel free to send me a Howler or something.

Let’s talk about that Emma dress. You knew she was going to wear that -
Yep.

And you made it just for her?
Yeah I did. I actually had quite a few things for her … which is really great. So, um, yeah … but she came to my, uh, show just last September during fashion week, so yeah, I got a kind of a call from her and she said she really liked the collection, and yeah, then I sent over those pieces to her and I think she went to Paris Fashion Week with some some envy (?). And then yeah, she wore the dress this Sunday in L.A. at a premiere.

Brilliant. Amazing. So do you think she’s going to be wearing some stuff in the future?
Hopefully, I mean, I’d really like her to. I think she’s got this really great sting great corset (?) bustierre that I made for her … and also like this little kind of sexy cocktail dress that I made as well, and so hopefully she might wear them out. source

Warner Bros. has also released the MSN sneak peek in all sorts of resolutions, including massively massive hi res and def videos! The videos can be downloaded straight from the WB Potter website, or alternatively the super dooper massive ones from here (Windows Media Player), here (Flash), here (Quicktime HD) and here (iPod video)!

Emma has also been featured on Yahoo!Movies ’20/20′ feature, Stars 20 and Younger. Emma came in at number two, right after the Jonas Brothers. There’s no new photo or information, but you can check that out (and the other contenders) here. News tip thanks to Polly! Here’s what they had to say about Emma:

Emma Watson has received all kinds of praise for her role as Hermione Granger, the know-it-all friend of Harry Potter. It turns out that Watson is also a real-life whiz at school; she aced her British college entrance exams with straight A’s. source

Teaser Poster for HBP due out February 5th?

According to the following sources, the first teaser poster for the sixth installment of the Potter series is set to hit the web February 5th 2009. Hopefully, this rumour turns out to be true and we’ll start with the avalanche of promotion that comes with Potter movies! Stay tuned and we’ll see what happens!

Jo has updated EWO with a small note on Emma’s Blue Peter donation and a brief mention on Emma’s interview with Live! (the Daily Mail article and shoot). You can view the mini update here.

Also, a few press articles have been added to our archives. Any ‘rumourish’ articles have been tagged as such. Included in this update: Emma’s lack of cinematic familiarity with her co-stars prior to ‘Potter’; her opinions on food, cooking and diet; comments on the WB ‘good behaviour’ clause; Rupert Grint’s worry at having to kiss Emma in DH and Robert Pattinson on the trio’s fame management.

Rob told YOU magazine: “I think the way the kids from Harry Potter are dealing with fame is by ignoring everything and just living their normal lives as much as they can.” source

“Daniel (Radcliffe), Rupert (Grint) and I have been incredibly protected doing the Harry Potter movies. There seems to be this feeling that all of us were bursting to break out of these images we had created but that’s never been the case. We all share the same view. None of us court celebrity, none of us want to be part of the game.” source

“As I’ve known Emma for so long, I reckon it will be 10 times worse,” says the 20-year-old actor, who plays Ron Weasley. source

She said: “Even if I wanted to be that skinny, I love food and I love cooking and I love sitting down and having nice meals, so it just wouldn’t be possible for me.” source

The British star – who shot to fame playing Hermione Granger, one of three starring roles in the popular film franchise – grew up in an academic family and barely watched movies. source

A little request from the staff: we’re not going to delete comments, but excessive language will be modified. You all have the right to state your opinion and debate freely – it’s alright to disagree with Emma, duh! – but we do ask that you refrain from using the f-bomb or other such words. We aim to keep iheartwatson.net as PG-13 as possible. :)

Back into routine!

Hey guys! Thanks for all the lovely comments and emails we received as we celebrated two years online! Who knew it could go so fast? Thanks to Susan who made us a wonderful little gift.

Moving on from our general birthday-related frivolity, back to regular site news! Another interview from Emma’s U.S. press run has surfaced, this time with the Brazilian magazine Cinepop! The interview is mostly in English but does trickle into Brazilian from time to time – you can view a transcript here – there’s likely to be some errors, my Brazilian Portuguese isn’t really up to scratch!

There’s so much ahead of you. How do you see yourself in a few years? Is it, “Oh, I wanna do this … maybe work on this kind of project?” Graduate from college, I guess? Tell me, tell us, tell your fans.
Well I’m looking to go to university in September, but I’ve also go to finish ‘Harry Potter’. We have to film the seventh film. There’s so much. There’s so many types of things I’d like to do – I’d love to do a musical, I’d love to do a play or drama. I’d love to do some smaller, independent films. It’s a very exciting time for me right now. video, transcript

Also up on the agenda, a little gallery update. This update includes even more high qualities from the Despereaux Los Angeles premiere, plus some new pictures of Emma from her Paris Fashion Week stint. A couple of new pictures from the Somerset Ceremony and from Cartier Polo Day. Check those out (and more!) over at ihwmedia.net.
