I am going to start with regular updates with new Harry Potter goodies to celebrate the release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2“. I will make graphics from every Harry Potter film for you to use, starting with Icons (100×100) of Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

I also made a new wallpaper and calender for July for you to use to pimp your desktop. The July Calender is made with a promo from Emma’s upcoming Lancôme campaign and the wallpaper is made with an outtake from Emma’s recent Seventeen! Magazine shoot.

Edit! Emma is currently the covergirl for Dolly Magazine in Australia for the August 2010 edition. Looks like they’re using the Sean Cook photoshoot first used in the Daily Mail. We’re not sure what’s included, a new interview perhaps?, but if any loyal follower feels like taking a peek, that would be fabulous! Or even better, if an Aussie visitors regularly subscribe to this magazine, scans would be appreciated!

Secondly, I’ve made the July 2010 picspam of Emma at the Glastonbury Film Festival. I just loved these photos and couldn’t resist making a pretty picspam!

And lastly, I’ve added a July calendar. I’m actually hoping to bring calendars back to the site since I think they’re really fun!

In other news, we would like to welcome our newest contributor, Ali. She will most likely be here soon enough to introduce herself, but she has taken on a role with Sparkly – so expect good things to come there!

2010 should prove to be an exciting year, bringing us Part I of the final movie in the Potter series. With filming wrapping up and Emma attending Brown University, we don’t know what will be next for her, but we have no doubt that Emma won’t disappoint.

That being said, I’ve created a calendar for this month (forgive me for the quality – I haven’t cracked open Photoshop in a while). Enjoy the calendar and more importantly, enjoy your first few days of this year!

One last thing – if you haven’t already, be sure to pay a visit to the small holiday update on Emma’s official site. Included are a couple lovely new photos and a video recorded for the site, so it’s certainly worth a look.

We have a scan from the Dec. 08/Jan. 09 issue of Empire magazine. Empire has a bit of a behind-the-scenes article on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and one picture, albeit rather small and blurry and tiny and dark, does feature Hermione! You can check that out in the galleries here. We also have an awesome new high-res still from HBP, featuring Professors Snape and McGonagall, with the trio looking on from the background. As usual, you can check that out in the galleries right here. And if you haven’t seen the new ihwmedia.net layout yet, you should definitely go marvel, ‘cos it’s gorgeous and it finally works!

If you haven’t visited our graphic archive Sparkly! recently, now might be the time to pop over and take a look. There’s been a pretty new layout up for a little while and it’s been updated with wallpapers taken from former 2007 desktop calendars. There’s some really adorable ones there, so be sure to check ‘em out!

We’ve also begun compiling a lookbook of Hermione’s outfits in the Potter films! So far, the page features Emma’s sixteen outfits from Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban. Outfits from Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix will be up in the lookbook shortly, as well as full guides for Hermione’s outfits. On the bright side, we have a bit of HBP news and Sparkly! has been blessed a bit today! Thanks to HPANA we know that HBP will be going to IMAX this November, with part of the film in 3D and for while you begin planning tickets for that, I added a bit to Sparkly! You can check out two new wallpapers, a March calendar wall and more gorgeous Kaetlyn icons as well!

EDIT: I’ve also finally updated the past layouts page! We’ve had some gorgeous ones, so check that out. If you’re really feeling nostalgic, you can also page through the grand layout archives, encompassing Mystique, Emma Love, Emma Online, Emma Fans, and Patronus Otter as well! (Not sure what these are? Check our history!)

I also updated the Picture of the Month, and realized we never got around to posting the fan of the month for March – oops! The award goes to Evie Diane, who made me giggle with her idea. (We should have a graphic award soon.) Check out the April question too and give it a try!
