June 10, 2008: Switching It Up
The school year is wrapping up for some of us and we’ve got a present in celebration! There’s a new layout decking the site and we hope you really like this one. The layout was created by Karly and features an image from Emma’s 2008 Stella magazine photoshoot. The layout features a pretty large header image so if you have a smaller screen resolution or would just like more space on the page for the text, you can navigate over to the style switcher link on the sidebar to your left! It’s under “Site Summary” and there you can switch between the large or smaller header. Thanks much to Kayla for passing on some news about the Ballet Shoes DVD! According to Amazon, it’s to be released September 2, 2008. You can preorder the DVD from Amazon here or check out our album of Ballet Shoes-related images at ihwmedia.net right here. I’d also like to ask that y’all continue to be patient with us and the site in the following few weeks. You’ve been incredibly supportive and friendly though there’s been very little news lately, and we really appreciate that! All four of us are currently on some kind of hiatus from either the fandom or internet at the time, making updates a bit more difficult. Keep on browsing, keep on enjoying, and have fun!
April 6, 2008: New Appearance and Goodies Galore!
It’s April of 2008 and we have of-the-month features to announce! Congratulations to Johnny and Leviosa, Pas Leviosaaa for winning the POTM and SOTM awards this month, respectively. Johnny gave a great answer to the question “Do you identify more with Emma or Hermione?” and for that, received the April ‘08 FOTM award, congratulations! Leviosa, Pas Leviosaaa is a great Ron/Hermione shipper fansite to whom we’re glad to present the April ‘08 SOTM award. The Picture of the Month page is always fun to look through - so much cuteness! - and I have one of my own favorite Emma photos, from her Times Online photoshoot, up there for April, so check that out! Speaking of Of The Months, the question for May is up at the FOTM page. You are Emma for a day. How do you spend your day?! If you’d like to enter - and you’re definitely encouraged to try! - head on over to the FOTM page before the end of April and give us your best answer. The IHW press archives have a new layout up, created by our very own Kaetlyn. Pretty, no? Because this is our first-ever Press Archives Layout Change, we’ve added for the Very First Time, the Press Archives Past Layouts bit to the past layouts page. Speaking of past layouts - we look a bit different today, no?! The new layout was created by Kaetlyn, featuring photos from Emma’s 2005 Elle Girl photoshoot and textures from Hybrid Genesis. There’s a bit of green, for spring, and we think it’s pretty fun. Pretty, no? A bit of new appearance news! Emma attended the opening of a Balenciaga store this February and we have, thanks to shyngr8 at the Sassy! forums, a photo of Emma from the event from Vogue UK. There’s a short report from the event at InStyle UK:
The blurb along with the Vogue UK scan reads:
Check that out at the galleries here! Finally, over a thousand screen captures from various Potter DVD special features have been added to the gallery, as well as untagged versions of the HP&OOTP London premiere photos that were uploaded earlier this week. So — will you forgive us our little April Fool’s prank? edit! Hey all! During the period where I was Internet-less, I pulled my all my resources and added some more, so I’ve got lots to upload! At the moment, I’ve uploaded a few albums (plus the caps above), and I’ve got loads of new appearance/premiere based pictures. Just keep checking the latest uploads. If you find any duplicates, just throw some sort of shoe at me - but please, I’m not a shoe psychic, pass along which images are duplicates. Please and thank you! - Kaetlyn
January 26, 2008: New prettiness!
Lotte designed this gorgeous layout featuring Emma’s photoshoot for InStyle UK’s January, 2008 edition specifically for IHeartWatson.net’s first birthday! We should have more news coming your way later today, so stay tuned! In the meanwhile, please do let us know what you think of the layout. Feel free to browse through our new archives page as well. Check out the very first newspost while you’re at it - we’ve come a long, long way.
