Anyway, thanks to the above sources, I’ve added over 150 new high quality and shiny pictures to the galleries! The majority come from ohmywatson!, but there are a few from Oclumencia and myself. Also, Emma came in fourth in Moviefone‘s 25 Under 25: Hollywood’s Hottest Young Stars, a first time for Emma! She is placed alongside Potter co-stars as Daniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson (Rupert, again, unfortunately fell under the radar). You can see all 25 here, and go through the flash presentation.

Industry Buzz: “She is one of the brightest people I have ever met, with a razor-sharp mind,” says ‘Harry Potter’ producer David Heyman. “After seeing her work in ‘Half-Blood Prince,’ I can assuredly say she can do it all. Finally, Paris Fashion Week has commenced! The itinerary has been released, and Emma has previously expressed interest in attending Chanel (October 3rd), Balenciaga (September 30th) and Alexander McQueen (October 3rd). UPDATES: Check it out, we’ve got a gorgeous new layout up! This layout, designed by Kaetlyn, features photos from Emma’s recent Vogue Italia spread. I plan to also update the site with a version for those of us with smaller monitors in the next several days.

I’d also like to ask that y’all continue to be patient with us and the site in the following few weeks. You’ve been incredibly supportive and friendly though there’s been very little news lately, and we really appreciate that! All four of us are currently on some kind of hiatus from either the fandom or internet at the time, making updates a bit more difficult. Keep on browsing, keep on enjoying, and have fun!

The IHW press archives have a new layout up, created by our very own Kaetlyn. Pretty, no? Because this is our first-ever Press Archives Layout Change, we’ve added for the Very First Time, the Press Archives Past Layouts bit to the past layouts page.

Speaking of past layouts – we look a bit different today, no?! The new layout was created by Kaetlyn, featuring photos from Emma’s 2005 Elle Girl photoshoot and textures from Hybrid Genesis. There’s a bit of green, for spring, and we think it’s pretty fun. Pretty, no?

A bit of new appearance news! Emma attended the opening of a Balenciaga store this February and we have, thanks to shyngr8 at the Sassy! forums, a photo of Emma from the event from Vogue UK. There’s a short report from the event at InStyle UK:

Oh there were other journos in the room, but they don’t count because I highly doubt they love Balenciaga as much as I do. Except maybe Emma Watson, who told me: “I have never met the designer before, but I can’t wait. I’m wearing Balenciaga top-to-toe.”

The blurb along with the Vogue UK scan reads:

I joined Emma Watson (in flats so as not to upset her teen fanclub!) at the opening of Balenciaga’s Mount Street store followed by a cosy dinner at Harry’s Bar, hosted by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Nicolas Ghesquiere.

EDIT! I’ve added four new wallpapers to Sparkly!

You might have already noticed, but I redesigned Sparkly! a little bit. I’ve also added loads of icon donations! Speaking of the icon section, I’ve rearranged that so that the pages are sorted out by artist (were my 200+ icons keeping anyone else from viewing anything under my name in less than 5 minutes?!). You probably don’t care about that, though.

I wanted to let everyone know that Caitlin, who you may recognize from the forums, is now officially helping out with the Style Files. She’s added lots of new matches for those interested, including the dress from the National Movie Awards, if you haven’t already seen that! She won’t be able to make updates directly here so I will try to keep up with that but make sure you take a look every once in a while.

Unfortunately I have nothing else exciting to tell you. Just enjoy the new layout! :)

By the way – if you missed the last post, Emma will be attending the Order of the Phoenix DVD launch on November 3rd, next Saturday.
