Outfit Portfolio
Over the years Emma has worn a whole heap of outfits while promoting her various movies. Here you will find a visual timeline of all of Emma’s outfits from all her premieres, outings, launches and fashion and television appearances.
Outfits from 2000/1
In the early years, Emma’s outfits were very simple pieces built from her pre-existing wardrobe. Emma’s main appearances were in the lead up and the promotion of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone“.

Outfits from 2002
This year was still very early in Emma’s fashion career and she still relied upon her own pieces from her wardrobe for public appearances. However, it was in these years that Emma started to branch out and borrow clothing from her mother and her step-mother. These appearances were for her second film, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets“.

Outfits from 2003
This was a rather quiet year for Emma and she chose to focus more on her studies and filming. This year saw Emma maturing in her fashion decisions in the lead up to promotions for “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban“.

Outfits from 2004
Emma started to mix brands in this year and began to incorporate more borrowed pieces from her mother’s and step-mother’s wardrobe. Emma’s favoured brands from this period include Miss Sixty, DKNY and Marc Jacobs. Her public appearances for this year were mainly for “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban“.

A lot of Emma’s outfits from this year were high-class fashion pieces from various designer’s collections. Favoured designers from this period include Miss Sixty, Alberta Ferretti, Converse and DKNY. Emma’s public appearances for this year were to promote “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire“.

Outfits from 2006
Emma kept pretty quiet in this year focussing her attentions to her studies and finishing her fifth film, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and first non-Potter role, “Ballet Shoes“. Fashion-wise, Emma’s choices were relatively low-key and chosen from her pre-existing wardrobe.

Outfits from 2007
It was in this year that Emma branched out even further into the fashion world and chose a lot of high-end pieces to promote her film, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix“. Emma wore a lot of Chanel in this period but also wore pieces from Wright & Teague, Cacharel and Alberta Ferretti.

Outfits from 2008
Emma made a splash in the fashion world in this year, appearing at all the major fashion shows at Paris Fashion Week. Her style developed even further and it was reflected in her outfit choices. It was in this year that Emma first started wearing Burberry, a brand she would later be The Face of, and she was more confident in her high-end fashion choices. Emma’s favoured brands from this period include Burberry, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and DKNY. At the end of the year, Emma’s main public appearances were to promote “The Tale of Despereaux“.

Again, Emma was very fashion-forward in this period. Her bond with Burberry developed and she wore a lot of their newer outfits for her public appearances. Emma also chose to show-off London-based designer, William Temperly, as well as using pieces from Proenza Schouler, Ossie Clark, Phillip Lim and Chanel. Emma had a big promotional tour for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince“.

Outfits from 2010
This was an exceptionally big year for Emma fashion-wise as this was the year she cut off her long locks and embraced her now famous pixie cut. With her new hair, Emma experimented with new designers and chose looks that were edgier and different from her usual “good girl-esque” persona. She remained close to Burberry, but also chose pieces from collections by Rafeal Lopez, Calvin Klein, Marios Schwab, Christopher Kane, Vionnet, Balmain, Temperley and Valentino. Emma stepped out at various red carpets and appearances to promote “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1“.

Outfits from 2011
Emma continued choosing pieces that were a little more risque in this year, but also continued incorporating vintage pieces where possible. Fashion blogs and magazines everywhere heralded Emma’s fashion choices and praised her for her choice of designers. This year saw Emma wearing Balmain, Chanel, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Marchesa, Bottega Veneta, Hakaan, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Rafael Lopez. Emma promoted “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” and “My Week With Marilyn” during this period.
