Chanel S/S '09 at Paris Fashion Week

A little bit of detail and DIY on the Chanel S/S '09 at Paris Fashion Week outfit, accessories, hair and makeup!

Emma didn't slow down for her final appearance at Paris Fashion Week 2008, looking more stylish than ever in a cute dress, leggings and, of course, fantastic shoes.

Mix'n'Match!: Leggings are a trend that doesn't seem to ever want to fade - however their days of being worn under mini skirts are long gone. Emma's don't cut off on the calf like you'd expect, and instead extend to her ankle. They add a pretty interesting contrast to the white dress and jacket. I love the look of a slightly cropped jacket like this over a dress, whether it be leather or canvas.

Hair/Makeup Guide

You don't need a load of makeup to achieve this look. Start with two shimmery bronze eyeshadows - one golden and one more pink toned. NARS Duo Eye Shadow in Key Largo or All About Eve would work very nicely. Just apply the golden colour to the inner corners, extending about halfway across your lid, and add the pinker one (which should be slightly darker) in the outer corners to meet the gold. Make sure you blend, blend, blend! Nothing worse than a big dividing line. Then, apply your favourite mascara (try Lancome Definicils), rosy blush (try Tarte Natural Beauty Cheek Stain) and pink gloss (try Stila Lip Glaze - Emma's favourite! - in Watermelon).

If your hair is naturally really curly or difficult to manage, you may want to apply a straightening balm like this one from Coiff Controle by Frederic Fekkai. Either way, once you're finished straightening by your chosen method (blow drying in sections or using a flat iron) apply a serum like Jonathan Create Smooth Anti-Frizz Volumizing Serum to create shine and a bit of volume, too.
