The IHW press archives have a new layout up, created by our very own Kaetlyn. Pretty, no? Because this is our first-ever Press Archives Layout Change, we’ve added for the Very First Time, the Press Archives Past Layouts bit to the past layouts page.

Speaking of past layouts – we look a bit different today, no?! The new layout was created by Kaetlyn, featuring photos from Emma’s 2005 Elle Girl photoshoot and textures from Hybrid Genesis. There’s a bit of green, for spring, and we think it’s pretty fun. Pretty, no?

A bit of new appearance news! Emma attended the opening of a Balenciaga store this February and we have, thanks to shyngr8 at the Sassy! forums, a photo of Emma from the event from Vogue UK. There’s a short report from the event at InStyle UK:

Oh there were other journos in the room, but they don’t count because I highly doubt they love Balenciaga as much as I do. Except maybe Emma Watson, who told me: “I have never met the designer before, but I can’t wait. I’m wearing Balenciaga top-to-toe.”

The blurb along with the Vogue UK scan reads:

I joined Emma Watson (in flats so as not to upset her teen fanclub!) at the opening of Balenciaga’s Mount Street store followed by a cosy dinner at Harry’s Bar, hosted by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Nicolas Ghesquiere.

Finally, over a thousand screen captures from various Potter DVD special features have been added to the gallery, as well as untagged versions of the HP&OOTP London premiere photos that were uploaded earlier this week.

edit! Hey all! During the period where I was Internet-less, I pulled my all my resources and added some more, so I’ve got lots to upload! At the moment, I’ve uploaded a few albums (plus the caps above), and I’ve got loads of new appearance/premiere based pictures. Just keep checking the latest uploads. If you find any duplicates, just throw some sort of shoe at me – but please, I’m not a shoe psychic, pass along which images are duplicates. Please and thank you! - Kaetlyn

So, starting from today, every picture over at ihwmedia.net will be tagged and these tags are no to be removed under any circumstances. I think the tagging is fair, and they don’t take away from the overall aesthetic of the images. You may want to argue me on this, but I’m just making sure that no one can claim they found our images on some other site, and then upload them into their own galleries.

New pictures have been added to the OotP London Premiere and the OotP London After Party albums in our galleries.

As you can see, there are lots and lots of pictures added. And the best part? Lots of pictures that were only in MQ previously are now in massive and wonderful HQ! All hail HQism!

EDIT! I’ve seperated the pictures into high quality and medium quality. I’ll see if I can build up a collection of MQ pictures as well as HQ. At the moment, I’ve only been able to add a few MQ pictures. Enjoy. :) Oh, and according to People magazine, she won ‘Best Actress’! Read it here.

We’ve been wandering through the Emma section and extended-facts sections updating with bits and pieces of new information here and there. Check out the current looks/last sighting snapshot, essentially Emma biography, extended biography, family info page (this one’s particularly interesting to me, check out the pictures of her family!), awards list (I certainly didn’t know she had such an impressive list!), and various hairstyles. If you have a question about Emma – anything at all that you’ve always been curious about! – now’s a great time to ask! A big thanks goes out to Caitlin, who’s been helping Karly out with the Style Files! She’s added many more exact matches together with Karly and the list really is super-impressive, as are their style guides.

Kudos to my staffmates for being so awesome about updating all these sometimes-mundane pages! These are what really make the site for me but they’re the ones who’ve put in the work to carefully gather and work on images to provide a thorough look at Emma through the years. I say give them a round of applause!

I’ve also gone kind of crazy with Order of the Phoenix press conference pictures, adding some 45 new photos from the July conference, both high and medium quality! I was so excited to find these as I think they’re particularly pretty ones of Emma.

I’ve updated Sparkly! with some twenty or so icons by Kaetlyn throughout various sections. I’m quite a fan of Kaetlyn’s graphics, do check them out as her icons are always quite gorgeous and there’s some awesome ones in this batch!

Speaking of icons, two-thumbs up to the contestants currently participating in the first round of Watson LIMs! All the entries were gorgeous and I’m excited to keep up with this round. The second challenge began yesterday and ends Friday, so check out the community this weekend to vote for your favorites and cheer them all on!

Emma is scheduled to appear at the Pride of Britain awards this evening so stay tuned as we’ll have high quality/high resolution images and event information up for you as soon as it’s possibly available!
