The long-promised “Stage 2″ of Emma’s official site is now open and running. There are a few cool new features that I’m just starting to find myself so check it out and have a blast!

DVD Launch & Awards

Thanks to Emma-Watson.net and TLC for letting us know about a few bits of news! We have our first bit of footage from the DVD launch, a bit of an interview with Emma. It is, unfortunately, dubbed in Hungarian so it’s difficult to understand, but check that out anyway here on YouTube!

Emma ranked 24th in Harper Bazaar’s Best Dressed of 2007 list, along with J.K. Rowling at 7th! You can check the list of the top 25 out here at Ireland Online.

DanRadcliffe.com posted a translation of a short article from the DVD launch that quotes Emma as saying “I’m like Hermione. I’m a geek who likes to go to school and learn.”

Finally, Emma Watson Official was updated with news that Emma was presented with the Gouden Flip Best Actress award during the DVD launch junket. There’s a picture of it up in her dressing room, so do check that out!

We’re Back!

If you attempted to visit the site earlier today and were unable to get to it – no fear, we’re back! There was a bit of host downtime but all is well now.

Emma’s official site has been updated, promising that “phase two” of the website will come soon and also reminding us that Emma is scheduled to be at the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD launch today! Exciting, huh? Can’t wait to have those pictures up!

Sparkly! has been updated a bit with some miscellaneous icons! Thanks to Cassandra for her generous donations, available here. If you have any icons, wallpapers, banners, animations, or anything else you’ve made, feel welcome to send those in as well and we’ll be delighted to add them to the site!

Reminder: UK Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards!

Just a small reminder to all ihw.net visitors that Emma will be making an appearance at the UK Nick Kid’s Choice Awards tomorrow (Saturday October 20th)! All of us will be prowling our sources for the prettiness that are HQ pictures! Also, EWO.com has updated with some new fanart and also a reminder about tomorrow.

EDIT! I’ve seperated the pictures into high quality and medium quality. I’ll see if I can build up a collection of MQ pictures as well as HQ. At the moment, I’ve only been able to add a few MQ pictures. Enjoy. :) Oh, and according to People magazine, she won ‘Best Actress’! Read it here.

EDIT! I’ve added lots more of Emma at the Nick Choice Awards in the MQ section, lots of her burping into a giant burping cup thingo. I dunno what’s going on there. 8D

Bits and Pieces

Emma posted a new message on her official site about her recent awards show appearances. She’s scheduled to appear at the Kid’s Choice Awards in the UK this Saturday, so don’t miss that!

MTV has posted a bit of an interview with Jo Rowling, who said she revealed more of the last Potter book’s plot to Emma than anyone else. Definitely check it out, it’s sort of a priceless shipper moment!

EDIT! Plus, a new interview where Emma ranks ballet ‘harder than Harry’.

“I loved shooting Ballet Shoes, but it’s much harder doing ballet than stunts on Harry Potter as I don’t do most of those myself. “Other people do it for me so I guess I get away with much more. Playing a ballerina is so different, it’s lots of hard work and I’m not really that good.”

NMA Aftermath

Well, the NMA excitement is over. I am trying to get my hands on the new departure pictures that are out, but it might take a while, but I’ll see what I can do. Behind the scenes, all of us are working like little beavers, with a new layout in the works (huzzah!) and our side project Watson LIMS is going along swimmingly. We do knwo that Emma won Best Up and Coming Female award over at movie.com, and also her official site, EWO.com won Best Official Actress Site! So big congrats to Emma!

Also, EWO.com has been updated with a small thanks and new picture of Emma, taken by her father, with her award! You can view that here.

Emma’s official site has been updated by the webmiss, Jo, with some cute comments about Emma’s younger siblings. Apparently, her younger sisters are also going to be in Ballet Shoes this December – check out the site to find out more!
